They were so bad, that they can't be that bad again. Yet we were shit, and likely could be that shit again

Trouble is, every word of that is true.

I think it means it wasn't a very good effort on my part! lol

To be fair, I think everyone else got the sarcasm. I'm still pissed off with all of them and if I were in charge they'd be sold, like the Thailand Three were. Still, what do I know about it.

Onwards and upwards.

Go for it. We’re best when we get on the front foot and put pressure on the opposition.

It’s a semi final of a cup we’ve never won

I’ll be so disappointed if we go defensive. There’s just no need to

I want to see Maddison and Perez (if fit) putting a bloody good shift in too.
If not I’ll find out where they live and take a big dump on their doorsteps

👍

If he plays 3cbs against these after West Brom had their pants down he deserves to go in the stocks for the rest of the week.

It was more 4 at the back after half time.

I thought that but then realised that Timmy was playing right side of the three .....  we had Marc and Ricky on the right as the game progressed .....no room for Timmy as a RB aswell .....still think JE is carrying an issue

Was a very lopsided formation, Albrighton was supposed to be in the attacking central midfield role but was often out wide with Ricardo.

Just got this message from a mate who supports Saints:

”in the league, since beating Liverpool in January we’ve lost 11 of 14, conceding 37 goals. In terms of goals conceded, the next worst in that time is Sheff Utd with 26. I can see you easily getting at least 3 goals.”

Just you watch us go and lose...

So has anyone checked the training videos? Any unexpected absentees? Any stories going round ?

Kelechi scored a hat trick in training, so that's good

It has rather pissed on the narrative that LCFC are somehow different to other clubs.

No-one gives a f**k about morality in this country, just look at the sleazy bastards in charge, wouldn't know a principle if it kicked them in the head.

As you say we move on, but we don't forget.

The 3 lads in Thailand had little value.

We know that the driver behind this is that.

Hamza will be sold. He was nearly out the door anyway.

Madders and Harvey stay because they have value.

Wes will be moved upstairs and keep his head down and out the media for a while.

Perez is the one I'm not sure on. It's not like he's a huge hit with the fans and we will never get our money back. He was a Brendan signing so wonder if he feels most let down by him.

And let's be honest I think if any play a key part Sunday we will all forget very quickly.

Infact it seems to have blown over, been brushed under the carpet pretty quickly already in the media and by the club.

I’m sorry but, while I appreciate he’s a club legend and all, do you really think engaging in this behaviour (as the senior pro and club captain) makes him worthy, capable or competent of a role upstairs?

This is a very fair point. And while we're on the subject, presumably Morgan was in Thailand when James Pearson and his mates were abusing those young women.

Yes, he had led this club brilliantly on and off the field since he walked in the door almost 10 years ago.
His leadership has been exemplary since he arrived. No doubt in this situation he has let himself down, but for that he has been punished. That doesn’t mean he should be punished forever.

Some people are blowing this thing way out of proportion, talk of players being sold, sacked etc is ridiculous.

They have let themselves down badly, they have let the club and supporters down badly, they have also been punished and had their faces in the media and been embarrassed.

Time to learn from this, for the five involved and the rest of the club.
Now we move on!

As long as we HAVE a defence for this match, it'll be an upgrade :P  (The same can be said for the English Women's team this week too! :@)

We still don't have a clue what actually happened, I don't know about you but I'm not making judgments based on Sun articles. If the club has the full details then it's up to them to decide.

And I would 100% support any decision made by Top. In recent years they have very rarely got things wrong, especially particularly delicate matters.
