We've done enough to deserve to go in level at HT, but the longer Man C have almost exclusive possession the more likely they will score. We can keep them out indefinitely. All it needs is one ball and a break and we could punish them. Posted 3 April 2021 Share Posted 3 April 2021 Captain Hindsight here, going with 2 up top was a mistake, overrun in the middle but can't really take off either Vardy or Nacho because then we have nowhere to go if we need a goal. Ricardo is a good defender and Amartey’s height is not as much needed as Man City are mostly passing on the group. Damn they are some team and giving us no time on the ball at all. That said, Anthony Taylor makes the endless list of shit refs. No freekick to KDB, who then nearly scores from it. Yellow carding Ndidi, the first time we stop a counter after Fernandinho has done it twice without consequence. Giving them freekick against Ndidi as he wins the ball and hits their man after, but do not give us one when the same thing happend later. Just want some consistency. Please.
