This is my priority tbh. Obviously would love champions league and realistically want us to get at least one to be considered a good year but there's nothing like silverware. It's a shame we haven't been there to see our team progress. Hopefully they actually turn up. Chelsea aren't invincible

Most of us are really down this weekend after a pathetic record in the last two games and likely to feel equally bad come Tuesday.
...with that degree of negativity in the past we have often then been surprised by the team performance in the next match.

Maybe it will happen again.

Maybe Rachel Riley will text me later asking for an illicit meet up at a sleazy hotel somewhere too.

I went into the last 2 games with a degree of negativity. And I most certainly was surprised by the team performance in both games.

So you're right.

Not going to lie, I’m not going to be happy if we Chuck the top four in and then turn up for this.....

However, Chelsea will tear us apart. Probably going to be a long a painful day. 5 or 6-0 at least.

We can beat Chelsea in a one off game but Chelsea are so solid and efficient that I just don't see it. Rodgers will match up to them with a 352 but we will have very little of the ball. A frustrating 90/120 mins coming up in the cup final.

I thought getting to the final would have given us a kick up the arse, but we still can’t seem to get ourselves going..... we need to try and use the game V United to get up for this. We need maximum effort for the next three games. And you never know we still have a chance to turn this season into the second best season we’ve ever had.

Chelsea have more big game players, and that’s what concerns me. They have bottle in abundance. They’ve just beaten Real Madrid and Man City (twice). We couldn’t beat 10 men Southampton and got walloped at home to Newcastle.

It should be a tight game going on league positions, but I really do fear it might get embarrassing. Having said that it is a one off game…

We’ll have half a chance if Evans can play.

I'd rather win the FA Cup to be honest. Champions League wouldn't realistically be that much different from the Europa League, we'd get through the group stage (probably) and then get knocked out in the second round.

The FA Cup could be a once in a lifetime trophy for all Leicester supporters. Sure, it's diminished a little in the modern game, but its the one domestic trophy we have left and the one that was the biggest one when I was growing up.

Different by couple of millions. Even if get knocked out in the group stage

Our ponderous possession football will allow plenty of time for Chelsea’s defence to set and once set it’s looked pretty much impenetrable under Tuchel.

The way to get at a well-drilled 3 at the back is break quickly once we get the ball back, unfortunately with Barnes injured and Vardy looking to be on his last legs we have no pace up front. We don’t even have any pace in reserve, the one thing we can do is try to move the ball quickly and for that reason Perez has to start ahead of Maddison.

We also play a suicidally high line which will be a dream for Werner and Pulisic.

It’s hard to imagine a better match-up from a Chelsea point of view, we don’t have any of the tools needed to hurt them and they have got everything needed to hurt us.

Other than that I’m really looking forward to it!

Like I said in another thread if we were a dross bottom half of the championship team in bad form but got to a FA Cup Final, I swear some would be more optimistic about our chances in this made up scenario over our current one.

Watching all those players who's  done Jack sh#t against Newcastle, I would put Cengo on the field vs Chelsea to make sure he can give us a grand farewell before he leaves.

Why the hell not?

Surely he can do better than movie star Madison or stand up comedian Perez.

I don't know why people are falling head over heels for Chelsea lol, they're a r great side but they're not bayern Múnich ffs. Man c weren't at their best and Madrid are a very very poor side. It'll be closer than we think. I'm not saying we win but they won't stomp all over us given that we don't keep playing like we've been playing. Tuchel isn't sir Alex trust me he's much more fragile

4th place and FA Cup final would represent our second best season of all time.

Honestly, the entitlement of LCFC supporters that has crept in over the past few seasons. We're Leicester City, we're living the dream! In 5 years time we could very realistically be playing in the Championship again and people are upset that we haven't quite kept pace with Manchester United and Chelsea over the first 35 games of the season, and only made it to the FA Cup final and a semi-decent run in Europe :frusty:

Yeahhh!!! So embarrassing. We are the laughing stock of world football! 4th in the Premier League and an FA Cup final... Zzzzzzz   Sack em all.

What does it matter if we lose the final and finish 5th? We’re just Tottenham. Feels like you pair share the players mentality, always been a little club and should be so grateful to even compete. You’re right too, Jim. We’ve been one of the top 3-4 sides in the league for two years, how do you do that and not qualify for UCL? Assuming ofcourse we balls it up like it’s looking we will (again).

I don’t share your sentiments, capitulation isn’t good enough. Your acceptance of it if shared by players and staff results in a backwards trend. Little old Leicester, well let’s be honest, we shouldn’t be challenging for anything really anyway, right? Just glad to be having a go, it’s the taking part that counts etc.

You think players like Youri will accept this? No he and our better UCL standard players will be long gone.

I’d listen more to the kiwi side of your heritage than the Turkish side!

There is not much to say about my Kiwi heritage because,

- All Blacks are ranking number 1 rugby union team in the world

- Black Cap are  ranking number 1 cricket team in the world.

- Kiwi's are also number 1  ranking rugby league team in the world.

So you're pommies are boring. Let's keep taking about football.🤣🤣🤣🤣

Depends on whether Evans will be fit, with him missing we're gonna struggle.
