If anything, you really have to appreciate how fast they got those banners made.

Bound to make em quick when they haven't got jobs

Hopefully as more clubs start to come out and condem it (come on leicester please 🙏) they'll get the points deducted removed from cup comps and won't be able to fill these last 8 spots

‘If they announce a letter of intent has been signed they should be punished heavily. Massive fines, points deductions, take their titles off them, who cares. ‘Give the title to Burnley. Give it to Fulham. Let Fulham stay up and relegate United and Liverpool and Arsenal. Because those three are the ones that should suffer most. This can’t actually happen, can it?

I think it has happened...

But I see the key determining point here is how major sponsors react.

There’s muted to be a prospective TV deal in place, giving these clubs a basis to proceed, but will the games major sponsors like Nike, Adidas, Coca Cola, McDonald’s, Heineken, Gasprom etc be willing to bed themselves into this competition given the initial widespread backlash?

I think we’ll have to wait and see on that - but I expect these companies to take the risk, given if they don’t other’s are likely to step in.

And if it does go ahead and games are played, let’s face it people will watch - it’s football and it’s Man Utd, Liverpool, Barcelona, Real Madrid, etc.

What that will mean for the rest of the Premier League and European leagues outside of the chosen 20 I don’t know.

UEFA and FIFA have a major problem - kicking these sides out of their eco-system massively devalues their product (awful term, but that is what it is), yet keeping them in leaves a bad taste.

However, that might be the best move - say to these clubs they can continue to participate, but refuse to adjust the seasons schedule to accommodate this rouge competition - because ultimately these traitors do need footballs authorities to make this thing work.

Spare a thought for Arsenal and Spurs fans though - if they thought this season was bad for their respective clubs, just wait until they become Europe’s whipping boys!

In all seriousness though that fat cnut can do one. Not sure what his name is but he will be rubbing his pecker at the idea of the super league.

"Wait for information to come out" - its already come out you moron!!

One thing I would say is that I actually wouldn't mind having a league without the six parasites.

I actually always find myself more motivated to watch when we play a team thats not one of the big 6.

Yup, laughed at that in all honesty. Football is for everyone, if you pay our subscription fees.

The potential TV element is an interesting one. I wonder if this is what Amazons test of PL football was about or will the "founding forefathers" (or whatever they call themselves) stream it themselves and sell subscriptions to their millions of adoring long term fans in far away lands.

Agreed I won’t be watching but anyone that wants to should watch by the way of a stream that is easily accessible with aforementioned services and a good VPN.

Hopefully nobe of the TV companies pick it up to be honest. Then no one can stream it.

But yeah if people choose to watch they shouldn't pay for it.

They've invited Arsenal? A team that sits in 9th in their domestic table and celebrates a 97th minute equaliser at home, against a team that has been relegated, like they've won the league?

And Spurs?

The marketeers of this shiny new thing might want to rethink the word "super" in their league name.

The problem if the 6 do go would obviously be the financial and talent knock on drains to the rest of the clubs. But assuming all that could be mitigated (highly questionable I know) how great would a league that was so much more of an equal competition be?! Maybe with some new regulations to actually discourage new super clubs from forming, wage and transfer caps etc. That league would be infinitely more enjoyable and exciting, even if the technical standard of the football on display took a bit of a hit.

Believe a part of it allows them to stream some of the games themselves.

Exactly.

In reality, all the money thats being funneled to these 12(+3) clubs will be coming from various TV deals. As one of the major players in the UK market it'd be a huge statement if they came out and said that they wouldn't be involved in any capacity. Instead you can almost guarantee that they'll be one of the seats at the table when UK rights come under discussion :/

What does the new changes do? The ones that Uefa are trying to implement

Expands the CL to 36 teams and changes the structure of the tournament dramatically. Also still has selective entry, with a couple of spots saved for clubs based on historic merit - regardless of their performance.

I think Klopp will walk away, it's the perfect exit for him.

Exactly.....he's a man of principle and integrity. No way will he join this greedy circus!

.and especially as the German FA along with Bayern and Dortmund are against Super League.
