Poor to watch but at least they found a win… really fed up of tikka takka sideways passing. I get the need to recycle the ball, you can’t always go forward, but try sometimes… the amount of runs in behind and we chose a safe pass over and over again

Rightly so. I was critical of our play first half, especially Ndidi who did little with the ball. He really got involved second half and created that extra bit of space which allowed Tielemans to dictate the game for us. And that was on top of being in his usual beast mode when challenging the Utd midfielders.
Fofana didn't put a foot wrong and seeing him in the middle of the three speaks volumes of how mature this lad is and how much trust Rodgers places in him. But the rest of the team did their bit to avoid Fofana getting exposed.

I agree. A lot of our players really turned up in the second half and it made N'didi and Tielemans stand out a little more second half, but Fofana did the job all game, breaking up play and bringing the ball out from the back. We've got a sensational player on our hands who could well be the world's best in a few years time.

Congratulations, and thanks for tonight (from a Manchester City fan). Smacked us early this season, and thoroughly deserve to finish in the top 4 - best of luck with making that happen.
