Too lazy to find it but a very interesting article on them in the guardian recently, didn't exactly paint their rise as a fairytale story at all (some shady goings on)

 

The article did mention that their domestic league quite recently lifted any restrictions on foreign players and they took full advantage of that to get that bit stronger and finally crack CL qualification.
