We didn't play well and lacked zip but I don't believe for one second they didn't want to win or weren't bothered.

If anything sums up our play nowadays, it was Lookman this evening. The guy has shown he can be offensive and skilful. Tonight he played almost every ball backwards and kept himself isolated on the left as if he was scared to get the ball or go forward. Incredible.

I get why we do these passes, we have to draw them out, but Christ, you have to make it count once they are drawn out.

Some very very poor performances tonight, Iheanacho possibly the worst.

 

I think we've got serious problems and I don't see us sorting them out this season/this regime. Huge overhaul needed, Rodgers effectiveness with this lot is gone.

 

That's got to be 3 or 4 pen's now that Vardy has come on and missed early on. So frustrating but would have masked another horrible display.

 

Leeds will murder us.

Just very flat as it has been for a lot of the season. Why did we have 3cbs on at the final whistle? Made absolutely no sense. Not one person willing to take on a man and if youri doesn't make a line breaking pass, no one even tries to. Just feel like this team having all imagination coached out of them.

Mh. First time in a long time I feel like in the back of my mind I'm doubting his ability to turn it around. 

 

I had these concerns after the first time we threw top four away after that initial covid break. There was that troubling track record of his, a lack of ability to turn around a nosedive. 

 

I still think its a weakness in his managerial style. Even if he does eventually lift it, it takes too long, we're far too streaky. A team of our caliber shouldn't be going from that level of performance against United to the games against Arsenal and Spartak in short succession. It's mad. 

 

I was impressed last year, almost every time we had a bad result we rallied fairly immediately. But through most of 2021 we've just been buttsliding. 

 

I dunno. I'm definitely not calling for his head but I also wouldn't be gutted if he was "poached."

 

Yes, he's overseen one of the best periods in our history but I do think that people overlook its also one of the best squads we've ever had, so that's fairly natural.

Nothing really dropped for us in front of goal. Nacho blocking KDH’s effort, Vardy’s missed penalty. A huge lack of intensity. Yet again it’s taken us going behind to really put a team under huge pressure. 
 

We should’ve changed the three at the back at half time. I do feel Rodgers was somewhat forced into it with the players we had missing. We had enough chances to win the game for sure.

Meanwhile Soyuncu gives a goal away every game which gives us an uphill battle.

Sooner not be in conference league and concentrate on the prem and getting the team playing well.

I think we end up boring ourselves into some weird state of sedation. Either way something else needs to be tried now because it's clearly not working
