Insane how Johnson can just lie about Labour bankrupting local councils and you can’t call him a liar. I mean calling Nottingham city council communists is an absolute joke. One of the cities where left policies have actually worked well.

errr, you do know about their failed energy venture which cost the taxpayers millions yes?

Is this actually some genuine bit of obscure knowledge or just a joke? Because if it's real that is genuinely fantastic.

And if it's not, has anyone got a bridge I can buy?

So a court has ruled the government DID break the law when it said it was creating a 'protective ring' around elderly care homes during Covid. Deemed to have failed to protect those residents..

Another black mark on Johnson's tenure...

What a vile bunch of toads they all are!

By that, do you include ALL politicians or just the current shower of shit? Power corrupts.

I was working paramedic back then and it was quite clear to me and my colleagues that sending people to care homes from hospital was causing an increase in Covid cases in care homes. I had no idea of the legal aspect of the Gov decision and at the time we knew those going into care home were untested prior to discharge and it just seemed bizarre that hospitals would do that.

Well mainly the ones under investigation.  Albeit, I concede, there may well be innocents amongst them.

I maintain sympathy for the government for that time, because I’m pretty convinced that there weren’t any “good” options available to them. But the statement that they didn’t know about asymptomatic transmission annoys me. It was one of the first things we found out about the virus that January.

The behaviour of MPs in Parliament only reflect the society they represent.

Quite rightly, we expect better of people in power but in reality they are no better and standards in public life have been on a downward trend for decades.

It is time to drain the swamp and kick some of them out.

BBC News - Tory MP Neil Parish investigated over porn claims

Nobody interesting in the end then. I was hoping Gove or Rees-Mogg. Although Rees-Mogg probably doesn't have a mobile, he'd be watching porn on a series of etchings.

By-election would be interesting - usually a complete Conservative strongold. He won by a 40% majority last election.
