He has been a terrible signing for us and a huge waste of money. But he won the ball back to give it to Youri for the winner in the cup final. He hasn't worked out not through a lack of effort he just lacked quality so nothing against him it was an awful signing by Rodgers.

He’s probably been our best player since the break, and that’s even when factoring in his miss against Newcastle. lol

Adrien Silva was way worse.

I’m sure we got some loan fees for him too right? Which puts him slightly above Perez.

Did Silva help us to the record PL away win?

Did Silva help us win an FA Cup?

It’s not even close

Hasn’t been terrible but not made a massive impact.

take out the 2016 title win he was a main stay of our 2 most successful seasons.

his cameo in Eindhoven changed the game.

but agree he should’ve contributed more in terms of goals and assists

Not spectacular, could have done more. Was a mainstay in the side during 2 successful seasons and an FA Cup winner. Never really used in the way Newcastle used him and got some decent performances, which begs the question why we ever wanted to sign him in the first place. Could have been a good fit in the right system, instead he was just a misfit square peg in a round hole struggling to make an impact and perform consistently outside of a handful of good matches.

Arguably we've done that to a few players.

4 premier league goals and 4 assists since the start of the 20/21 season.

And to make it worse, 3 in the same game.

Wrong year, didn't read it right!

I won’t call and slag ayoze off tbf always works his socks off and puts a shift in when called upon. Not the best player but the first 2 seasons he was good for us especially with Ricardo down the right hand side! Agree he’s weak and not been the best these last few seasons but like people have said his touch practically gave it to youri for the FA CUP. Hope the lad does well at betis :)

His numbers are atrocious.

£30m for him was pants-pulling of the highest calibre by Newcastle.

Still, the 9-0 was fun.

Cheerio, Ayo.

Waste of space … handball in the facup final apart all I remember him for are dodgy tackles having the control of a cement mixer some unbelievably horrible misses and looking nonplussed whenever he played … glad he is going

He was decent to start with. Became progressively worse. Much like most players over the last 3-4 years. He jist cost more and so copped more abuse.

But he delivered nothing, absolutely nothing for us and we ended up having to pay off his contract just to get him away. He was infinitely worse than Perez, who has been crap, but has at least had a handful of good games for us as opposed to...none.

Utter clap trap, absolutely NOT a hand ball, just ask VAR, and he`s been our best player (not difficult) in our last few games !

Clearly didn’t go to Southampton or Eindhoven.
