Wait. He's called "Tom Sensicall"?

Like Nonsensical?

Some highlights for those who haven’t read

“Ten years ago we were in Copenhagen but I think the problem is some fans are still there,” adds Linda Ginnetta.

Still, some of us remember it being worse,” adds another, more senior, supporter

“A lot of the fans who were 15 or 16 when we won the title are the more vocally disgruntled ones now,” says Tom Sensicall

“Someone who sits at the end of our row in King Power Stadium is always booing and shouting at the players and last week, when we scored (against Doncaster Rovers), he slammed his seat down, uttered ‘f*** it’ and walked out,” says Amy Ginnetta

:nigel:

that last one is iconic

Can’t wait for the incoming Netflix series “At Home with the Ginettas”. What a thrill a minute that would be.

They are so wide of the mark on their opinions of our current “plight” (and it is a plight) it is untrue 🤯

I absolutely loathe how these twats seem to think they're the only people who have experienced us being shit before and that any dissenting voice must be a child.

What pisses me off is that it's just not true. We were relegated to the third tier for the first time ever in 2008. So anybody born in the 90's, like me, can remember our lowest ever position (at that time) very well.

Every time I see a picture of Linda Ginetta I’m convinced she’s AI

That implies there’s intelligence involved though

"It was worse under David Pleat"

How is being in the 2nd tier worse than being mid-table in the 3rd tier???

(Although maybe not ask that question... you'd probably get a response that the Pleat years were in Division 2 and we are now in League One)

Having too many fans with these attitudes is one of the reasons (though not the biggest) why we are in this position. Do you honestly think the majority of Everton, West Ham or Villa fans would have put up with this? Of course they wouldn't.

By the way, I'm 32 and have seen us at objectively the two lowest points in our history, League 1 relegation in 2008 and this current season. There's something very MAGA about these weirdos.

Mr Sensicall calling out the fans who were 15 or 16 when we won the league- “The title-winning season is their first real big experience and now that’s where they expect them to be. They’ve not had the bad times of League One before.”

Except, they have. Those times would have been well within living memory and you'd argue that's the era when the club defines itself in your mind most prominently. I was that age in the mid-late 90s and Wembley certainly felt like the norm to me growing up.

Love the bloke who accuses people of not understanding our place in the pyramid whilst implying that mid-table in League One is our natural place and not in fact the lowest we have ever been.

Anything to defend King Power.

Tanner publishing absolute shite again.

These clowns idiots were probably telling everyone “it was worse under Frank Womack!” during the Pleat years.

What does Rob Tanner actually do? Does he even cover us anymore? Has he ever got a transfer exclusive?

The only thing to do about Tanner giving air time is to write to the Athletic and complain he's being a mouthpiece for the club.

Might stir him up a bit.
