One thing they have done well is take the lead more often. They haven't held on to as many leads as they would have liked, but it allows you to defend deep and counter.

Doesn’t matter if Ipswich are better than us or not , we were ‘better’ than more than 3 teams in 22/23 but it meant bugger all in the end.

Out of the 2 of us Ipswich just have that feeling about them that they’ll just survive wheras we look like we are just plodding to relegation without no real plan to stop it. Unless we have an exceptional transfer window I can’t see how we survive.

Yeah ok, we are where we are through bad luck and officials 👍

did i say that? no

but you have to admit some of the decisions that have gone Ipswich way the last 2 games are a little iffy

tho that shows the state of officials in this country

Ipswich defend better than us and that's why they can steal points off better teams here and there and we can't.

Neither us or Southampton believe in ourselves, believe in the projects and we don’t have stable leadership. We don’t stand a chance. I genuinely think the club think we will be safe because we are Leicester city and won the league and FA cup.

I think this is spot on tbf 👌  whilst it's speculative I would wager alot of money that this is the mindset of the board.

I was hoping for a narrow Fulham win and that's still on the table they were 1-0 down v Chelsea with what 5 or 10 minutes to go. A narrow win means Ipswich don't get any points and we should go into the home game upcoming v Fulham believing we can win.

tbf they are playing 7 defensive minded players,

counter attack style

what we did in 14/15

Tbqh we needed someone to come in and completely change the back line, it was evident even with Enzo that it was a weakness. Instead we gave vesty a contract and signed a project (one that we’ve given up on in  6 months)

I agreed it’s why Ipswich will stay up, they are all on board, they’ve nothing to prove and nothing to lose, they go for it every game and leave nothing out there, eventually their effort with enable them to grind out results.

We’ve not got any of those qualities, put that with zero confidence, zero leadership, and a put a manager in place with no staff….. what do they expect? It won’t surprise me if we finish bottom, we are just a disgrace of a club, and it’s entirely self inflicted.

Top, sort it out or just **** off.

Delap,  Szmodics, Greaves, Johnson.

Mebee they had a decent summer transfer market??

We got De Cordoba-Reid, Ayew, Edouard and Skipp. Plus the long-awaited return of Soumare and Kristenson (both deemed not good enough for the championship).FFS.

(Okoli, Buanonotte & El Khannous all youngsters and appear to offer something).

Hope we sign no-one in Jan - total waste of time - we're down no matter what.
