Looks like Ben Dawson is still involved. Surely he’ll need to add to the staff as well

FM surely it's purely on the Sunday session and then FO for Monday, Tuesday and thereafter.

Harsh I know as ultimately the players are shite but my god yesterday was exactly what not to do as a caretaker manager .......... super fuching shite

Yea it was hardly a good audition for Dawson. Ruud must get other voices in otherwise he’s just leading Cooper’s coaches.

The overwhelming thing i hear from players and coaches is RvN is very good at improving players. That's a massive positive.

Really hope he can get some semblance of sanity from this club to build something here.

We have a lot of players that are either a) young and therefore able to improve or b) playing way below their ceiling

Realistically we aren’t spaffing the £10’s of millions we would need to in January in order to give ourselves a decent chance. Ruud will have to be an absolute miracle worker to keep us up and I doubt he will.

We won the league after being bottom a year before momentum goes a long way in football. It is possible to improve players with coaching, currently we have Mads, Winks and Vardy that are good enough. Improve 3-4 players between now and January and it gives the owners faith to spend a bit of money on 2-3 players, get rid of Edouard and get a different loan in, maybe someone steps up from the youth team if given a chance.

Bottom of the form table with 1pt from the last 15pt available it's going to require some Buddhist monks to move into the changing rooms for a few months.

It's a no lose situation for him. If they get the drop, no one will blame him. If he keeps them up (or even gets them doing half-way decent), he's a miracle worker.

I know, I personally think he'll do a good job, it was tongue in cheek.

According to this forum, they’re all shit, so he should be like a pig in shit here!

I watched that with a high level of anxiety. They were playing fast and loose with that cycle track. I once made the mistake of straying into a Dutch cycle track and it's not a mistake you make twice.

Lovely bloke

Can easily warm to him straight away much more than we could Cooper. And that's with Cooper being a 'nice guy' too.

I get the sense that given some of the teams he's played in, he can bring a sense of camaraderie and passion to the team. And the main thing is confidence.

I think we have the real deal here. As a player he was ruthless but wasn't afraid to voice his opinion when it came to standing up to Fergie, etc.. We have a bunch of players who are arrogant and quite frankly think they can float though games without putting a shift in. He'll soon sort them out!
