As I've said in his transfer thread. Funny how a whole summer passes without a single offer close to satisfactory coming in and Riyad is strangely  back to his best in August while the window is open, call me cynical like.

And you'd be slating him if he'd been poor so he can't win whatever he does.

? what a stupid reply.

Mostly because I don't think I have ever slated him even through large periods of what was a best utter mediocrity, secondly the fact he can't win is his own fault after a season of sulking and under performance.

ideal scenario would be he doesn't go but continues to play well and not sulk but we will how he reacts if he's still here when the window closes. One thing that has to be admired, so far at least, is his professionalism

It's strapped up with an ice pack on it, but Shakespeare didn't seem overly concerned.

Shakey has admitted to bluffing about injuries before, I don't trust him any more on them :|

I'd be surprised if that's not the easiest game of the season.

We didn't get out of second gear, and we didn't need to- a comfortable win against a championship outfit.

Well that doesn't sound great does it

Sounds like he will miss a few games at least then.

Given our starting fixtures it might not be too bad. It's our fixtures post Liverpool where I feel we will need him.

That said Shinji has been great in both his last two games.

Great result today. It sounded like we didn't really have to get out of second gear either. Hopefully Wes and Vardy will be fit for the visit to Old Trafford as the way they're playing we'll need everyone on song to bring something back from there.

If no Wes, then Huth has to be fit.

Sheff Utd will be a good chance to see some of the fringe players in action. Personally I'm hoping Johnson can come in at right-back and Amartey get 90 mins as a CB.

It might be a good opportunity to see if Gray can cut it as a makeshift centre forward seeing as Iheanacho is likely to miss the Utd game and in case the worst happens and Vardy is sidelined.

Brighton were one one of the worst teams I've seen since we have returned to the Premier League. We did a job and saw the game out. If we got out of 2nd gear we may have scored a few more.

Maguire was class. Mahrez at his skillful best at time. Nice to see Okazaki score again. Concerned about Morgan though. Seemed out weak link.

We could have had a few more if a few changes were made earlier, even though we didn't look like conceding the team could have done with a boost. I got the feeling Shakey was reluctant to make any this week though given how last week went, even Shinji lasted 75 minutes.

Morgan has been our weak link since he won the premier league ... unfortunately only people not employed by Leicester city FC can see this lollol

this shows why we aren't ready for man united we let Brighton take possession from us

We won a title going through most matches with less than 50% possession...

But Leo will be upset :(

Happy with that .. not expecting anything next week but got a feeling we can do Chelsea when

we get back from the international break.

Six points from four games would be a great return considering the opposition faced.

We don't need a lot of possession to win games and potential more possession for us against Manchester United doesn't equal us getting something out of it. In their first two matches, United have proven they are lethal going forward. It's up to our defense to deliver and hold steady, requiring our midfielders also to help out.

If Shinji got his brace, your stomach would never be the same.

Will give you a pass on the Goodison Park sign in the background, at least you have a local footy pub, but it needs redecorated.

Thankfully the rest of the place looks less dreary and 6th-8th place-ish

One of the easiest wins we'll have all season. They were awful. They look every inch Middlesbrough of the south, no attacking intent at all.

We looked very assured. Rarely do we cock these kinds of games up (when being properly organised) so it's nice to see we've still got it.

Maguire or Mahrez MOTM for me.

Brighton haven't got any hope of staying up, reminds me of our first EPL promotion in 94 when we signed Draper and that was about it! I know there's people out there who want them to do well but to me they're a team who may fill one of the relegation spots and that's my first concern.
