Not really...

Makes yesterday's result feel even worse!

Seeing them win would make it feel worse.

Another way to look at it is both Everton and Wolves will be kicking themselves after they saw our result last night. They didn't take advantage of it.

Brighton are shit, hopefully they go down soon.

I’d be happy to see all three south coast sides down

Given our last three games are arseholenal, man shitty and chelshit  picking up points will be tough.  Wolves have winnable games against  brighton, fulham and twatford still.

Looking at everton, watford and westhams last few games i think 7th will be tough for us

Delighted that the results went in our favour today but it also irritates me that we have had so many chances, especially at home, to secure a top 7 finish, but defeats against relegation threatened teams have cost us dearly. Also last nights defeat set a new premier record for most home defeats at the KP. At least it shows that below the top 6, the division is competitive.

I know its all if's, but's and maybe's. But IF just bloody IF we had got a result last night. How well placed we could of been (I know we are still 7th) but could of just had that gap. Aaaarrrrgggghhhh!!!!

It's clear nobody wants to finish 7th...f###s up your pre season preparations and people will see how it had a negative impact on Burnleys start to the season.....and for what? No money in the Europa League....best off out of it

Hoping that we get something out of Chelsea and / or Man City games . They will surely have to rest players given their European commitments (assuming they are still in it!)

Top 4 finish more important than Europa League

No but we certainly weren't playing like we had anything to play for.....ala Wolves and Everton today. Premier league survival and getting top 4 are motivations that far outweigh finishing 7th

Hell even Fulhams pride outweighed the motivation to finish 7th!!! What does that tell you?

Results certainly did us a favour today with both Wolves and Everton losing now we need Watford to get beaten by Arsenal Monday and we'll stay 7th and slim hopes for a Euro spot may be still on !
