Something is going on...

Augero (new Man City player?) and De Bruyne is recovering from a knew injury.

Summary:

Sergio Augero plays for Man City

De Bruyne has a knew injury (maybe he knew about it?)

Chilwell has a kneww injury (is that similar to De Bruyne's?)

Great interview. Credit to Claude for sticking with him when many wouldn’t have. And full credit to Chillers for working his bollocks off and becoming a brilliant full back

He's been torn apart for years here with many wanting to either keep him as squad player or sell him.

A small minority were doing this.  Nacho is now feeling the same criticism.

Says it all that he plays as well as he did today and no one even talks about it any more, because he's playing so well so consistently.

No wonder he's been linked with Man City, he'd fit into any top team in Europe already IMO, and he will only improve. Honestly, who has a better left back in the entire league? Andy Robertson of Liverpool is probably the only one and even though he's better going forwards, I think Chilwell is better defensively.

Had a great season but was poor today. Dribbled the ball out for a corner summed his performance up. Held onto the ball far too long during the whole game & when did he actually attempt a cross nearly every single one was abysmal.

Strangely wouldn't pass the ball to Barnes either.

Really poor today, ran around like a headless chicken and his decision making is appalling, so many opportunities to release Barnes but decided to either pass it back or hit it aimlessly into the box.

Him and Ricardo had tough games today, but they could have 500 crosses each in to Vardy and the odd short arse like Maddison and Gray and not a single one would get past that lummox who plays at the back for Southampton. It drives me nuts we take it out wide so much.

He was lucky the lad got sent off as I could see him making a rash decision against him and being sent himself

He wasn’t much use anyway so doubt we’ll have noticed,he’s massively overrated in my opinion

Agree. Chiwell holds on the ball far too long all the time. His crosses are often too late, behind the forward line, or are just out of bounds. This is not a one off. He also has a tendency to blame others which is annoying.

Agree also re his refusal to release Barnes. I mentioned in the match thread too - seems like many mentioned the same. Maybe jealousy. Maybe it is simply his poor decision making.

Granted, Chiwell is a good LB, but we cannot rely on him to be our winger as well delivering crosses. His crosses are far too predictable and late. He should only be a support on the wing and not the attacking focal point.  Fuchs is much better in that regard.

An absolute shambles today.

Indicative of the whole team and the club at present imo.

You put this kid into a top 6 side and see how good he is (and can become)

We are in a mess at the moment

Jealousy?

WTF?

Why would he be jealous of Barnes??

Thought the same after he was booker for that clash with the rb. Why was he booked if anyone knows?

The challenge after on that guy, om another day he gets marching orders for a second booking.

Maybe if the put a bit of quality in, rather than the dross they serve up.

Chilwell is a great player but crossing is one of the weaker parts of he’s game.

I assume he was booked for the pushing he did towards valery after, he looked like being one tackle away from a sending off

As in he knows how good Barnes is, but he feels superior to Barnes, so he didn’t want to let Barnes shine in his first game back

Nope

anyway, looks to me as if teams are targeting him - he seems v quick to moan to officials when things go against him ....when we play 4-3-3, madison tends to go missing on the left which gives him space to break into but also leaves him exposed.
