We live in Nuneaton and my 8 year old is the only Leicester fan in his Sunday league team. Today before his game they held a minutes slience. He also scored and took off his shirt the reveal the Vichai top. Lovely stuff.

Been nothing from Steve Walsh on this has there. And he hasn't been seen at the ground. Wonder if he perhaps fell out with the owners when he left the club.

Incredible, the pictures online have no where near done it justice.

Sadly not been down to pay my respects yet, but will go with my brother @Domsdadon Tuesday to sign the book and lay our flowers.

Just an amazing contribution from everyone, do we know whats happening to all the flowers?

We went down at lunchtime today.  The tributes were still all there and hundreds of people still there.  Walking to the ground most groups of people, like us, were carrying flowers.  It really is an incredible reflection of how highly regarded he was.

He doesn't have to go. People can do what they want.

So beautifull in its poignancy..!!!

What will they do with all the shirts, scarfs and flags when it’s all taken down?

Assume it was taken Saturday morning before supporters coaches left for Cardiff?

Looking at the length of the shadows and the direction of them it was just after sunrise .......... two days later, I suspect the tribute has spread further around the stadium .......

If you look closely you can see the big screens in the ground showing the same picture of Vichai as the large club shop screen.

Certainly was before we left for Cardiff, what I was told was they’re moving it all on  Wednesday, flowers are going into the garden at the back of the club and all the shirts (I’d imagine the other mementos too) are being kept to form a lasting memorial whenever that is built in the future.

I can’t see that car park where it happened ever being reused, more likely (my guess is) to become a remembrance garden and transfer all the plaques from the one we currently have over to that area.

Was there this evening, it's not spread any further than in the photo, apart from having filled that remaining small empty corner at the bottom right

My Thai colleague at work pronounces it See-wot-arna-prop-har

Hello I’m Thai. His name pronounces as Sree-wat-ta-na-pra-pha.

It’s written in Roman from Pali-Sanskrit. That’s why difficult to read.

Sorry the voice is faded. I cut from video clip.

I've been checking this forum almost constantly since the crash happened, but haven't posted anything up until now.  I've just felt numb all week.  All those emotions of winning the league a couple of years ago have come back to me, but this time they are the polar opposites, and it feels like a part of the joy of that season has been lost forever.  What has been uplifting this week though is the response of people throughout football, which has been wonderful, and the way the club has handled the situation, which has been impeccable throughout.  I went to the stadium a few days ago to pay my respects, and I was at the game in Cardiff, and what I've seen over the last week or so has made me immensely proud of this football club.

I never met Khun Vichai, and up until the last few days I was I was unaware of many of the things he did for the club and the city.  It's clear that he was a lovely man.  The only contact I had with him was in Bruges, before the Champions League game.  I went for a wander on my own away from the main square, looking for a historic old pub I'd read about on the fringes of the old town.  I was strolling along an empty street, alongside one of the canals, looking down at a map, when I looked up and saw some instantly recognisable faces.  Vichai, Top and a group of friends and family were on a small, open top boat, doing a canal tour.  I stopped walking, and as I saw them they all made eye contact with me.  I gave a little wave and they all instantly waved back.  What struck me was the smile on Vichai's face, it was the same smile I'd seen thousands of times already that day, of a football supporter buzzing with anticipation of a first journey in the Champions League, and it's a smile I'll always remember.

Shree-vid-arna-pra-ba

...but that's not how Dorsett, Stringer, Tanner etc say it. They say See-what-hana-prab-ha.

Lineker said See-va-too-na-pra-pa which seems very different.

It doesn't matter.

Vichai wouldn't have minded and neither will his family.

I feel it's disrespectful to mispronounce names so I would very much welcome the correct phonetic pronunciation.

Not everyone can and do pronounce names the same for various reasons.

Culturally a ‘V’ can be pronounced vee or wee, and neither are incorrect.

I bet the Birch broke into a sweat when someone shown him the name change, then again I can't imagine he ever got the first name right either.
