Vardy gave Puel a hug as he came off, hardly full of animosity! One swallow doesn't make a summer but that was a good performance for a manager that used good tactics.

The first half was not awful and embarrassing at all. Chelsea were playing quality football and had us pinned back. Barely any team in the country could do anything about how they played today, Chelsea have the ability to pin any team back. Pressing a team that is high pressing you is dangerous and stupid, we did the right thing and tightened up the midfield and defence and soaked up pressure. Not really sure what you are expecting us to do in that situation?

StriderHiryu Posted 22 December 2018 Posted 22 December 2018 I think the game shows though that no matter what we try, when we revert back to a counter attacking team, it's when we are at our best. I want to see us be more than just a counter attacking team, but we are some of the best in the business when we play that way. That said the addition of Chilwell and Ricardo makes a BIG difference. The big money teams will be after these two for sure. Also Hamza deserves a huge pat on the back, great performance from him.

Lovely change from Puel to include Hamza and try something different from what didnt work last week. Excellent result and the 2nd half was bloody brilliant, its been a while since i was so excited & scared over one of our games. Happy as **** that Vardy got the goal too and what a goal it was.
