ARM1968 Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 Lost to a fluke. Could have scored ourselves. I’ll take that.

Guest Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 On that performance there'll be bids in for Maddison, Chilly, Ndidi and Maguire. Looks like Vardy may need to socre 8 against Chlsea for the Golden boot - that's possible.
The Guvnor Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 Second half we couldn't get our foot on the ball. If you are going to win the league then win it with a goal like that. Congrats to Man City .
Ozwin Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 Legs had gone by 70 odd minutes but with a bit of time and a summer to get Brendan’s ideas in place, I think we’ve got the makings of a class side. I really do.
Vacamion Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 Tielemans was a bit subdued after he was horribly fouled, I think on the achilles.
Foxhateram Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 Just now, FIF said: please will the morons not suddenly blame Nacho for our loss. He was on less than 10 minutes, don't show yourselves up. Onn ten minutes, hit some poor guy in row Z and broke up a bit of momentum we had with a pointless hack at Jesus. Not the reason for the loss, but he didn't do anything right either. Genuinely feel sick after that, to play so well and defend so heroically to then be undone by a CB who we allowed 3 opportunities to set his shot, is just sickening. On the bright side, a good performance Which shows the potential in this squad. A few additions in the summer and I think 6th do able. Certainly 7th.
eastendfox Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 Iheanacho wins the title for Man City... just has to look up and keeper is covering the side he shot to, other side has a huge space marked 'shoot here' Great performance from the starting 11 though, and it took something extraordinary to break us down

We're building something, with a few key players we're easily pushing 5/6/7. Especially with the shit show that is man utd, Chelsea and arsenal and the free for all that is 7th
Tielemans63 Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 Thought the boys gave everything. I thought Brendan got it right tactically but unfortunately didn't have the personnel to change it when we went behind. Excited for next season.
Clever Fox Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 I thought we looked subdued and a bit Leggy all game. NDiddi, Ricardo and Chilwell the pick of ours.
Richard Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 We can sure be proud of that performance. I even said to the tv "go on shoot you're never scoring from there". You can't legislate for the centre back putting it top corner from 35 yards when he's never scored from outside the box before

Kompany and Silva could both have gone in a different game, ref bottled it. Nasty, cheating, fouling and time wasting. Only Pool can stop them now. Come on Liverpool! thank you Jamie.

Clever Fox Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 The Goal was worthy of winning any game but it was preventable. Kasper had no chance.
Richard Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 Pep with Chilwell. Ben looks looks he couldn't give a shit what he has to say
Jonezy Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 That was a great perfomance against one of the best club sides ever. I love Hamza!
matty98 Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 Hope Pep wasn't actually tapping our players up, classless af if he was

Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 Can't really agree with those saying we deserved a point. We battled hard throughout and it took a utterly brilliant strike to beat to us in the end. But after 25 minutes, when we started very well and looked a threat, we dropped deeper, especially after the break and, in the end, copped it as a result. Still, lots to build on.
Golden Fox Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 Hopefully after that performance, Man City with activate Nacho's buyback clause. Everyone will be happy. (Not blaming him, but can anyone here honestly say they expected him to score? I had that feeling, with 10 mins to go that we would have 1 chance & it would just be down to the composure of who it fell to. We can be critical, but let's face it, his job i.e. the reason he goes to work every single day - is to be a Premier League striker and put the ball in the back of the net. He trains every day to do that and that it the best he can do???)
