Can't knock the effort or commitment, took a worldie to beat us although Schmeichel made two stunning saves. If only that chance had fallen to somebody in any sort of form.

 

The team gave it's all, didn't park the bus, didn't go to kick the opposition about and made a game of it. Just a shame we couldn't nick a goal near the end.

Never in it really after a tidy first 20 minutes. Best we were getting was a 0-0. Defended superbly. 

 

Phenomenal goal and our chance fell to the last person on the pitch anyone would want it to fall too.

We should have got a draw, we tried cannot fault the effort, but Manchester City are a different level to us.

 

We are just missing a quality winger, cannot fault Albrighton’s effort but we need better.

Wouldn't say we deserved anything, I think you're stretching it there for the sake of a few rep points. We defended well, can't legislate for a goal like that, Kelechi needs binning ASAP. Crap footballer.

Brilliant effort and we caused problems at times. I'm really looking forward to next season under Rodgers, and seeing what kind of players he can add to make us better.

 

But first, I think we can give Chelsea a really good game next weekend.

In fairness, I think if it was someone like Aguerro or Sterling on the ball, they'd have closed him down.
