Just for the record, he was off for a little less than 3 months with the abductor injury, and has been back in the side since January (apart from the 2 weeks for Covid).

I Dont like your record..so there..:P...But it is true,my slip-up

Though 3 months & his legs being abducted, still needs Time to recover, nurse, recuperate and rediscover/regenerate

again the mental and high Performance level....Not forgetting he had a relapse...

Not getting as much love as other players, but I thought he was brilliant today. When Evans sadly had to be replaced, he and Fofana rarely put a foot wrong.

A brilliant signing, so glad he is our player!

Agreed, he wasn't quite as stand out as Fofana but I thought he was a rock. Great positioning, clearing headers, stood players up well, decision making when closing down. Just a very very solid performance. Only downside I remember was letting Mount squeeze round him that time on the edge of the box.

Great to see he can do it with just him and Wes, hopefully the more games they get the better they become as a back 2.

First half he looked like he had a ricket in him at any moment. Second half when it became backs to the wall he was magnificent.

He was sensational yesterday overall. Him and lil wes really stepped up to the plate when we needed them. Both so young and will go on to be the best of a generation.

Even that was a bit unlucky, Mount got a very lucky bounce.

After we scored he and Fofana were immense. So much more secure when we were deeper with a traditional left back rather than a wing back. Won everything in the air towards the end.

If we go back four next season , I would have Caglar alongside Jonny . If Soumaré opts for the C.L. next season with Lille it may be worth while trying Fofana in a similar role. I get the feeling he would make a more than decent midfielder . He is a strong runner with good control. Compare him to Fabinho. who has been instrumental in turning Liverpool's season round.

He was immense once again yesterday, and he was one of few that tried to get the ball forward quickly when we fell behind. He's getting better and better and not making as many of this little mistakes he used to.

Anyone else starting to fear he's not all we've built him up to be?

- Gets beaten in the air frequently

- Dives in to every challenge, which opposition players are beginning to learn

- Prone to lapses of concentration like tonight's

- Appears to lose his head in trying circumstances

With a fit Evans, Fofana and Vestergaard, he may even be 4th choice.

And whatever the hell that was on Antonio's goal now.

He's been absolutely horrific tonight. I don't watch him every week so may be a bit off here but he seems to make too many mistakes and looks a shadow of the player without Evans next to him.

Not a one off unfortunately. Does not fill me with confidence whatsoever.
