Vacamion Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 The difference between this season and the last few is that I remain reasonably confident we can turn this around. We get a goal, they will wilt.
spacemunky Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 To compare that half to Puel's Leicester is just ridiculous. Nothing like that at all. Just give Everton credit for doing well defensively.

KFS Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 Don’t say I didn’t tell you so boys. Ref is having a shocker.

Harry96 Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 Barnes has been the one shining light really from an offensive point of view. Perez hasn’t done too bad either
lee7 Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 I think the atmosphere in the ground matches the performance - flat. Everton have done little to deserve to be in front & since being in front have had little to worry about.
lgfualol Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 Ergh poor half. Everton surprisingly playing well. Think we thought we didnt need to turn up. Big 2nd half required.

Guest Kopfkino Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 Feels all a bit Puel. Playing against utter dross (and they are as poor as anything) start slow, no press, lacking any crispness and urgency, looking clueless against their organisation. Need a rocket at half time cos that was poor
Corky Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 Had some thoughts it would be like this, they are working much harder today than in previous games. Poorest half for a long time.

Even dragging the leg is not honest although it then becomes too hard to really decipher whether it was honest or not. Even the suggestion that he should drag his leg to get the penalty probably shows the state of the game and how much pressure money has put on it. Not that it's your fault or the fans, we just want to see us win honestly.
Tuna Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 No complaints. We've not been at it and Everton have defended well and their gameplan seems to be working at the moment. Couldn't see any contact for the penalty so looked the right call. The 2 minutes at the end of the half was a ****ing joke the VAR shambles went on for about 4 minutes!
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 Need to shake it up after the break. Too predictable for most of that half and lacking urgency. They have packed their half especially after the goal and we've not really looked like breaking them down. Praet on?
car1os Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 Hmmm… well, not surprised. Everton look organised at the back, have packed their area and have some threat on the counter. We're struggling to break them down. They're also committing a number of tactical fouls as we start to break from within our own half. Was a bit nervous about this game... Come on Leicester, lets get back into this!
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 Was always going to be a tough game come on Leicester!!!
Captain... Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 We've been no different to recent games against Arsenal, Palace, Brighton the difference Everton took their chance we'll win the second half 2-0.
Vacamion Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 That Sky / ET advert is AIDS multiplied by Cancer.

Fightforever Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 It hasn't been 1 touch all too slow and easy for Everton Rogers needs to scream at them in the dressing room at half time.

We are an honest club, that sort of shit needs stamping out right across the game. We really should be issuing fines for this sort of this and and leading the way. Perhaps my TV isn't good enough but was what was shown in the replays definitively not a foul? It was bloody hard to tell and there wasn't daylight. His leg moves away just after potential contact. The fact he's speaking to the ref at half time going off the pitch suggests to me he's convinced he was clipped.
