Watford away Pre-Match

Wes Morgan has always dealt with Troy Deeney well in the past..by matching his physical presence. So would'nt be adverse to a back three for this match.

Wasn't Morgan at fault for Deeney's header in Rodgers first game last season?

Plus his lack of speed against that nippy winger would be suicide.  Defo not a game for Wes.

Depending on when the Brighton game is rearranged, we could be playing 4 of the next 5 away, with the sole home game being against Palace, who have a great record at the KP. Given that there is no room for sentiment on Saturday, even though I'm desperate for Big Nige to keep Watford up at the end of the season.

If Coronavirus has the games behind closed doors, playing away won't make any difference, it will basically be a neutral game.

I've got tickets to this game, but assuming the game is not played behind closed doors (which I think it will be), I am not even sure I should go. Pretty accepting of my fate of getting the dreaded C word along with 50% of the population in the next few weeks / months, but can't think that going to a game with 30K people plus travelling back and forth can be the best idea in the world to avoid it!

I'm in the same boat Strider - but invited as guest of WFC hospitality box-holders. So travel, plus 30k people, plus socialising in a confined space. I wouldn't be unhappy if the decision were taken out of my hands...

Maddison out injured and Soyuncu rumoured to be one of the three.  If it goes ahead and have a feeling that it will, I would swap those two for Tielemans and Wes.

I'd be amazed if any PL game goes ahead this weekend.

govt briefing says that the peak will be 3/5 weeks away. if we suspend the season now then we will likely not resume until back end april !!!  they think we're 3/4 weeks behind Italy...….   that would mean playing twice a week throughout the last week april and whole of may to finish the season.
