Massively different to a endless amount of pointless football matches with the money going to a lot of overpaid tossers still picking up tens of thousands a week many of who refuse to take a pay cut.

In FC Central Jutland, we do not want to continue the hunt for our third DM gold without you. 

We have therefore - in collaboration with relevant authorities, MCH and the rightholders - planned the best possible alternative to a full stadium, and invite you and up to 10,000 fellow fans to the Danish premiere at the drive-in to direct Super League football, so that we can jointly take the fight up - separately.  

- In the coming time when we unfortunately have to run the 3F Super League without spectators, we are working hard to create the best possible fighting experience. We are thinking offensively and will go a long way to giving something back to the Region and our many loyal fans, says Preben Rokkjær, Marketing and Support Director of FC Central Jutland, and elaborates:  

- We have a stated goal of creating the best stadium experience - it does not change Corona - it just provides some other preconditions. We are in close dialogue with both the Police, Herning Municipality and MCH to create a safe framework and security for everyone. 

More than 2,000 of the 12,000 unique and nearby parking spaces will be opened, encircling the MCH Arena and the success of the first match will determine whether we will open up further and apply for inclusion in Guinness World Records:  

  • We set up big screens in the parking areas at MCH Arena
  • We stick to the rituals you know; Hymn to Central Jutland, stadium plates and community 
  • In addition to TV images from the match, you can capture commentary audio via radio frequency in the car

Details of the event will follow when there is a final plan for the settlement of the remaining 3F Super League matches.

The country's best football series is currently. suspended indefinitely due to the risk of infection with Corona, and when the Super League ball is allowed to roll again, it will be without spectators in the stands - for the time being until August.

Arsenal and Manchester United could be handed controversial returns to the Champions League - if the current coronavirus-hit season fails to get back underway.

UEFA chiefs met with the 55 national associations - which included the English FA - via video conference on Tuesday and it was agreed to attempt to press ahead with restarting leagues by June.

But European bosses have also been forced to draw up contingency plans if domestic seasons are unable to resume, due to the global pandemic which has wreaked havoc on schedules all over the globe.

 

And The Sun has claimed that, if this season is axed, UEFA have told the associations to use their coefficient scores to decide which teams will play in the European competitions next year.

We had this a month ago when it was first mooted that the season could be null and void

 

you would hope that for the sake of integrity of the league after 29 games that this couldn’t be allowed to happen but I can’t see fourteen clubs voting to support us making 40m quid extra via a CL qualification- if the season is voided then we’re buggered

Are the ticket office re funding match tickets? Or is it just a case of you have to keep them and see what happens. Can't see owt on the website. 

 

Edit - looked just a little bit harder and found the info lol. Refund if they not played or played behind closed doors.

This isn't quite right. The Sun story says that the UEFA will ask each FA to present their own list of teams, and that the UEFA president is in favour of using this season's positions to determine qualification. However, "some FAs" (the story does not specify which) have said that the coefficient scores should be used instead because they're too chicken to make the decision themselves. The story makes it clear that UEFA is not in favour of this, and neither is the FA. If it did decide to go down the coefficient route, UEFA would be swamped by legal action for years to come.

If we were "given" Europa League despite being miles clear in 3rd with a few games to go we should boycott it.

 

It would be a completely unacceptable decision and shouldn't allow them to get away with it.

We would absolutely sue the arse off them if they tried to do that to us. Not just because they’d be changing the terms of the competition in the middle of the competition - we took out a massive loan with a bank to pay for the training ground and stadium expansion on the basis that we would pay it back with our PL prize earnings. Qualifying for the Champions League would have meant a huge bonus in our potential earnings and therefore what we could spend on players and infrastructure. Europa League offers nowhere near a similar amount of money.

I mean we're neither miles clear nor are there only a few games left, but I agree with the sentiment and we absolutely should be awarded one of the CL places if the season was curtailed.

 

It is fair and reasonable to nominate European places based on the current standings in a way that it is not to award the title or relegate teams (although we would say that I suppose).

Yes - but we are little old Leicester and we all must understand that the big 6 are the sole reason the EPL exists. We, and the other 13 Clubs are just makes weights and cannon fodder.  We are very lucky we get any share of the TV money and prize funds.

It'll be the same nobber from Italy who wants the likes of Milan in the CL no matter where they finish. It's just their way of trying to push their agenda, via a backdoor route and it would be rubbished by almost all associations, as it makes a complete mockery of the season currently being played out.
