Bournemouth (A)..pre match thread.

Not massively opposed to the 3-5-2, but in the end think the majority of the team picks itself with Maddison and Chilwell out only decision is between Bennet or Praet or Barnes/ Gray/ Albrighton. Depending on if we go 3 at the back, or 3 in midfield or 4-4-1-1/ 4-2-3-1 as above. So went for the attacking option as I think we’ll need to break them down and think we’ll be fine with more attaching wingers with more of a flat back four. 

 

Hoping we can get an early goal for a change, and then can look to catch them on the counter with Vards and Barnes pace like against Palace.

For those that are superstitious (I'm not - touch wood) we are currently on 666  Premier League points in the all time table. 

 

The win over Palace lifted us over Middlesborough (664pts) and into 14th place, bearing down on Leeds (692pts).

What a body blow no Vardy would be.  With Maddison and Ricardo both out along with Chillwell that is some injury list for us to overcome.

Vards looked like he pulled up running to close down Bellerin right at the end of the Arsenal game. Very worried if he is out. Without him, Maddison and Ric, where are the goals and creativity coming from?

Unless I missed something I haven't seen Rodgers mention Vardy is out? I assume they are just managing his fitness.

He is quite open about injury issues but he hasn’t been in the past re vardy 

 

presumably because teams will change their tactical approach if they know he isn’t playing.

Just watching Vardy's goals that the club have put up online.

 

Him and Drinky really had a chip on their shoulder with our supporters for a while didn't they? Some of their celebrations were more like they were offering us all out in a bar.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but this game is on Pick TV free to air (channel 11) aswell as sky, so might be worth saving any Now TV vouchers for the other games

With Watford winning, they even more need to go on the attack against us. Hopefully means they are more open

Absolute must win for Bournemouth now (an actual must win not a foxestalk every week must win). Means they will have to come out and have a right pop which in theory should play into our hands.

Doncaster last day of 2013-14? Wasn't Dickov their manager and we won it narrowly?
