Hollyfox Posted 5 October 2020 Posted 5 October 2020 Difficult one but Vardy scores most of our goals and wins the majority of our penalties (which he scores) Take him out of the side, whatever the reason, and we're going to struggle for goals. Perez is pretty average, so far. Harvey looks great but isn't yet a natural finisher. Nacho, he's alright and might step into Vardy’s boots if required, but he won't be as reliable imo. I think an extra striker that could give us a different dimension, would help us no end in this long season. 2
dannythefox Posted 5 October 2020 Posted 5 October 2020 Wish we could get a few quid for him but we had our chance two seasons ago when Bournemouth wanted him at 25m. We do actually need him this season its going to be tough with all the games and players are getting injured with all the fixtures coming to fast. Internationals have come at a good time for us
SecretPro Posted 5 October 2020 Posted 5 October 2020 Clearly we are not the only club that think he's not good enough. 2
Tuna Posted 5 October 2020 Posted 5 October 2020 He'll sign for a desperate relegation battler in the January transfer window, West Brom or Fulham probably.
Ian Nacho Posted 5 October 2020 Posted 5 October 2020 You’ve got 3 months to prove yourself Dimi. He’ll be gone in January for around £5m I reckon.
cruzFOX Posted 5 October 2020 Posted 5 October 2020 For someone still considered to be young the promising part has diminished drastically! Demaray has some serious thinking to do. He's not going anywhere for now so might as well put max effort into training and turn his fortunes around. BR will be watching and he'll get a chance to play at some point.

That being said with perez being awful and albrighton not being used off the bench, gray might still see some decent time off the bench over the season.
dbtcity Posted 6 October 2020 Posted 6 October 2020 Can’t see him moving in January to be fair... he’ll ride out the season in the stands then pocket a wedge when his contract expires
RowlattsFox Posted 6 October 2020 Posted 6 October 2020 I could see there still being a chance of him being involved in a swap deal for King or Brooks at Bournemouth. Not too fussed if he stays and gets the odd minutes here and there. 1
Gazza M Posted 6 October 2020 Posted 6 October 2020 He may well still be required as and when this season, especially the way Rodgers seems to go about training the players in to the ground. Half the squad will be crocked by end of November.
messerschmitt Posted 6 October 2020 Posted 6 October 2020 He was one of the better performers after the restart, when coming on as a sub he often made a difference. 2
Pliskin Posted 6 October 2020 Posted 6 October 2020 He could just pull his finger out and stop sulking and get on with it.... get out there out some effort in and he may even start getting into the team and put himself into the shop window.

Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 6 October 2020 Posted 6 October 2020 He was always going to work his contract down. Just to ensure he leaves LCFC offering the same value as he's done over the last 4 years i.e. feck all!!! Out with his oh so special whimper - never a bang!! 1 1

You asked why someone would pay £5m for him in February. He may get more as a signing on fee if he runs down his contract, equally if a club feel that he could give them enough in January to keep them up they may offer him a bonus.

sdb Posted 7 October 2020 Posted 7 October 2020 Harsh to assume but I will anyway. I think he'll be happy to sacrifice a year of football for a big pay day in 9 months time
