We shall have to be in a very poor state for that to happen

Yeah or if we want to win the premier league again.

I'd imagine something big has happened for this to happen. Unless they're confident they're staying up and looking long term (I say long term but this is Watford)

He needs a good club where he can be given time to turn things around.

Bizarre. Can only guess he was told he wouldn't keep his job if relegated so they decided to do the job now as opposed to give him the chance to save the?!

Odd nonetheless.

Watford are a shit fest, but this isn't the first time this has happened to him, it happened hear, at LCFC, and Derby and now Watford.  The guy is a loose cannon.

Huddersfield may work for him, local and not a basket case club.

Visit the Huddersfield forum, they most certainly are a basket case club.

Watford can FOAD, jesus Christ what a ridiculous decision. They are INCREDIBLY lucky that Bournemouth are shit.

Had a soft spot for Watford since they brought in Pearson and Shakey, and it seemed like they were doing a relatively decent job given the circumstances. Couldn't care less if they get relegated now, though.

They've got the better GD, but have Man City and Arsenal left to play so that could easily get decimated. Then all it'll take is a win from Bournemouth or Villa and it'll be the Championship for them next season.

Pearson is one of our greatest managers, a legend with how he changed this club from our lowest point, and helped us with our survival in the PL that led to our greatest moment

A slight overstatement that. Think Gillies, O'Farrell, Bloomfield, O'Neill, Ranieri. That's just the ones from my time supporting & there must be some from before that especially the guy in charge in the late 1920's when we came 2nd & 3rd in the League

I wonder if there was a bonus clause in his contract that they're trying to avoid?
