Popular Post Collymore Posted 19 July 2020 Popular Post Posted 19 July 2020 (edited) I feel it my bones that he will manage Leicester again. That's no disrespect to Brendan but when Big Nige is charge of Leicester the universe just feels balanced, it's like we're made for each other somehow... Head up Nige, you're an absolute legend. Mickyblueeyes Posted 19 July 2020 Posted 19 July 2020 Watford are weird. How will they ever build something if they keep sacking managers. Hopefully this stint has rebuilt Pearson’s reputation he will be a very good manager for someone. 3
worthosoriginals Posted 19 July 2020 Posted 19 July 2020 They need to get esteban in, he would keep them up.
Sly Posted 19 July 2020 Posted 19 July 2020 ....... Does Nigel not get his massive payout now for saving Watford from relegation?
Heathrow fox Posted 19 July 2020 Posted 19 July 2020 6 minutes ago, ALC Fox said: I can see him at Huddersfield now they've sacked the Cowleys. Another weird one, that, as they were in freefall before the Cowleys came in and have just beat West Brom to all but secure survival. Wow didn’t know they’ed been sacked aswell.
splinterdream Posted 19 July 2020 Posted 19 July 2020 Devastated we’ll never get to see the big man in that fabulous gilet ever again 😡
lgfualol Posted 19 July 2020 Posted 19 July 2020 Joke club, sacked 3 managers this season. At least I wont mind if they go down now.
Deeg67 Posted 19 July 2020 Posted 19 July 2020 This place seems blind to it given its infatuation with him, but maybe there’s a reason Pearson keeps burning bridges everywhere he goes? 1
Sharpe's Fox Posted 19 July 2020 Posted 19 July 2020 (edited) To be honest I didn't like wanting Watford to stay up anyway. Up the Villa. Edited 19 July 2020 by Sharpe's Fox 2
Foxxed Posted 19 July 2020 Posted 19 July 2020 “Hi, my name’s Nigel Pearson. I excel at forging an excellent team spirit to bring out the best in limited players to successfully escape relegation battles. I will bring consistency and reliability to your team by getting sacked in dubious and confusing circumstances like clockwork towards the end of the season. References available on request.” 1
mozartfox Posted 19 July 2020 Posted 19 July 2020 Has he throttled the Chairman? Is the Owner an Ostrich Farmer? Has his son been at it again? Very strange decision. I am blaming Elton for this.
shailen Posted 19 July 2020 Posted 19 July 2020 Will there be a u turn just like the great escape season in an hours time, where the story comes up as false 😂
Strokes Posted 19 July 2020 Posted 19 July 2020 Felt weird rooting for Watford anyway, so order is resumed.
SemperEadem Posted 19 July 2020 Posted 19 July 2020 Huddersfield may work for him, local and not a basket case club.

Vacamion Posted 19 July 2020 Posted 19 July 2020 Ha. Forget everything I posted in the Prem thread about Watford. This will come back to bite them.
Super_horns Posted 19 July 2020 Posted 19 July 2020 Weird. He only was contracted till the end of the season. Must have been a bust up ! 1

We shall have to be in a very poor state for that to happen 2
KingsX Posted 19 July 2020 Posted 19 July 2020 Run your club like morons and rely on one new manager bounce after another to finish 17th. But hey, it works eh? Until it doesn't and you find yourself in league One. 2
HybridFox Posted 19 July 2020 Posted 19 July 2020 Well that's my Watford love-in gone. Get relegated 2
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 19 July 2020 Posted 19 July 2020 Just now, Deeg67 said: This place seems blind to it given its infatuation with him, but maybe there’s a reason Pearson keeps burning bridges everywhere he goes? He's very blunt and matter of fact and people can't seem to handle that these days. The modern manager has to massage some egos behind the scenes and be a spin doctor in front of the cameras and microphones. NP will never be that.
Tom12345 Posted 19 July 2020 Posted 19 July 2020 I was not sure I wanted Watford to be relegated because of Pearson. Now I have no doubt. I want Villa to stay up instead of Watford.
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 19 July 2020 Posted 19 July 2020 Wow. Watford were bottom of the Premier League when Nigel Pearson took charge, six points from safety after 16 games and with a vastly inferior goal difference. Now, with two games left, they're three points above the drop zone with a better GD than those below. Football, eh?
