Phube Posted 31 October 2020 Posted 31 October 2020 Are people just waiting for Boris, but no ones discussing the match that Liverpool are losing?
Vacamion Posted 31 October 2020 Posted 31 October 2020  Yes it was a peno, but Salah with the 'I've been shot' agony dive there.   Â
StanSP Posted 31 October 2020 Posted 31 October 2020 Another soft penalty. Always has to exaggerate the contact doesn't he? Annoying. Like he's been shit so many times. 1

foxes_rule1978 Posted 31 October 2020 Posted 31 October 2020 Salah obviously makes sure the officials know he has broken a leg...Â
Jimothy Posted 31 October 2020 Posted 31 October 2020 (edited) Whats Masuaku doing? Whistle hasn't gone, turns round to look at the ref as if he was expecting it, and basically admitted he'd fouled him. Edited 31 October 2020 by Facecloth

Popular Post Lambert09 Posted 31 October 2020 Popular Post Posted 31 October 2020 We seriously need a rule change. Contact shouldn’t mean penalty, it’s a contact sport. These flops that are unrelated to the challenge, contact or not should be seen as dives.  Any ref in the world could see that contact didn’t cause him to fall like that.  If people started getting punished they would  realise they are better off staying on their feet and the game would improve 6
Leicester_Loyal Posted 31 October 2020 Posted 31 October 2020 The bottom 4 look absolutely awful this year, weird as they should be fresh and ready every week due to no European football and I don't think they have many international players either?
surrifox Posted 31 October 2020 Posted 31 October 2020 Ha ha . Of course it’s a “cosmetic process “ to review the decision pitchside - nothing wrong with Mane lunging at the keeper in dangerous fashionÂ

If it's based simply on there being some contact, and they are not faking that contact then it's just a player making sure the ref has seen the offence. As grim as it is to watch the overacting, you can see why it happens. A nailed on pen with no downside.Â

It’s just needs adjusting, clear and obvious over reactions get overruled and a booking.  Im not talking about the subjective ones. The taps that somehow send a player flying like he’s operating in zero gravity.  I think a few obvious ones getting people caught will stop people doing it after a whileÂ

But you can clearly see a general move to eradicate subjective decisions across the board. The move is towards empirically measurable occurrences, and a decision process geared towards tech making the calls.  Basically, turning a foul into a line call.Â
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 31 October 2020 Posted 31 October 2020 Salah went down like a sack of spuds.

trabuch Posted 31 October 2020 Posted 31 October 2020 Frank Lampard gives a good interview to be fair. I think I don't hate him.
davieG Posted 1 November 2020 Posted 1 November 2020 Those complaining about Sala and Mane should look at home first with Vardy and Maddison. Â It happens all over the pitch with people over reacting to fouls some where they've not even been touched. Â This along with taking one (yellow card) for the team are 2 of the most frustrating things about the game and yet those in charge spend all their time pissing about with the off-side and hand ball making them worse than ever. Â In fact they've just made it safer to take one for the team. 1
