I think he’s a steady player for us generally, but Mitoma turned him inside out on a few occasions, and especially for the goal. Luke Thomas would have gotten pelters if it was against him.

He is massively off the pace. Looks heavy legged defensively and is throwing in several minor errors every game. The kind of errors that are easy to ignore when your teammates are committing howlers. 

 

There is no sharpness, nor security about his play at the moment.

I’ve never rated him as highly as others. He’s a consistent 6-7 every week but makes glaring positional errors and is never quite switched on enough defensively for my liking.

Regularly gets done with the ball on the inside as the player runs from the outside behind him. Leads to dangerous moments.

If you said one of our fullbacks had 30+ caps for a major European nation, and the other was making his Premier League debut, then you’d think VK was the veteran. 
 

Timmy is still a good player but agree that he could do with time out of the team.

Got exposed a bit today but Tete is a bit like Mahrez when it comes to tracking back. KDH was meant to be helping cover on that side and he’s not at his best defensively either. That Buendia run in the 2nd half between Castagne and KDH was particularly poor.

If we’re offered £15-20m in the summer I think I’d be tempted to sell.

Offered £10m and I would snap your hand off, been saying all season he is getting away with not being singled out because of the shortcomings of others.
