dynamark Posted 24 January 2021 Posted 24 January 2021 I happen to think we are good enough to beat any team at present as long as Wilf and YT are playing,With or without Vardy the movement is so good every time a player looks up there options available it becomes an easy game when that happens 1

Ancelotti is a top manager and has got them playing to their strengths in any given game and without Vards I'd take a point with a much needed goal for Nacho in the process.
Jobyfox Posted 24 January 2021 Posted 24 January 2021 We lost this game earlier in the season because Kasper made a rare mistake that gifted them the first goal. I feel we've improved since then, but still could be a game that goes either way. I really don't understand the calls for Barnes to start as a striker. Especially not with the logic of: "being most similar to Vardy". He's quick but, other than that, he really isn't that similar to Vardy. To be honest I'd just keep the same side from Chelsea, but with Nacho or Perez up front. I'd probably go with Perez, but not that fussed either way. 1

StanSP Posted 24 January 2021 Posted 24 January 2021 Kasper Castagne - Fofana - Evans - Justin Ndidi - Tielemans Under - Maddison - Barnes Perez Got a feeling Under will be back on the bench instead of Albrighton.
Webbo Posted 24 January 2021 Posted 24 January 2021 If Brendan was going to play Barnes at CF then he would have done it today. Same team as @Chelsea with Perez instead of Vardy. Cags doesn't deserve to be dropped so he may make the team too.

HybridFox Posted 24 January 2021 Posted 24 January 2021 Massive game. Really is. We've had a decent record at their ground in recent years so hoping it continues!
Spiritwalker Posted 24 January 2021 Posted 24 January 2021 Under should start, it’s tough on Albrighton who has been superb but with Vardy missing he just gives us more pace in attack. 2
Mike Oxlong Posted 24 January 2021 Posted 24 January 2021 (edited) Despite our recent form i’m expecting us to lose this one. Edited 24 January 2021 by Mike Oxlong
IsItMuzzy Posted 24 January 2021 Posted 24 January 2021 They've gone strong for their FA Cup tie. Here's hoping for extra time

Bats8711 Posted 24 January 2021 Posted 24 January 2021 The extra 6 hours of rest will be massive, the boys are already in the sauna at Seagrave.
fuchsntf Posted 24 January 2021 Posted 24 January 2021 Now to upset a few... Fofana & Soyu, to take the CB positions... 1
surrifox Posted 24 January 2021 Posted 24 January 2021 Man for man we are better in every single position throughout the team , there’s no-one on their side I would trade for . sometimes that doesn’t guarantee the result and I think this will be a draw 1

I’d take James or Ricarlison over our Marc (or maybe even Ünder) tbh 2 1
CosbehFox Posted 24 January 2021 Posted 24 January 2021 I’d take a draw because it keeps them at arms length with them having a game in hand with Man City

He was there for 4 seasons. 3 of them he was crap and he scored 12 goals in the last one. If that's star quality God help us.
