Plenty of our squad have scored screamers before... Maddison, Tielemans & Barnes are all capable of a worldy. Even Amartey has slapped one in at that range before I think? Wish people would stop going on about his connection with Rodgers as well. He played for Rogers before and we know he has history of going back for old players. Maybe he thinks he can get the best out of him again. We'll just have to wait and see who the mystery player is. Secondly, whilst Bennett was not getting in the Wolves' team, he was at least a PL reserve for a decent side. Chalobah is not even getting regular games for a Championship side! Thirdly, Bennett was signed to allow us to send Benkovic out on loan to get some much needed first team action for us to assess him. We don't need to loan Hamza out for that purpose as we know what he can and can't do in the PL already without needing to send him to Newcastle. We also know he's clearly a superior player to Chalobah, so we're in effect weakening our squad for no apparent reason. All very odd!
