Guy takes Tielemans to the ground off the ball when he’s trying to move to the ball to try and win it in the air, Albrighton gets shoved in his back and goes flying and no free kicks. Their player gets caught in possession by two Leicester players (Mendy and Perez I think) and they win the ball but free kick. Shit, safe, clueless refereeing. Every bloody week. 7

TheUltimateWinner Posted 31 January 2021 Posted 31 January 2021 The problem is we’ve got Maddison and Perez effectively playing the same role. Both dropping deep to bring in other players. As a striker Pérez is having a bad game, but it doesn’t look like he’s being instructed to play as a striker?

It's not 'terrible' or 'bollocks' by any stretch. Quite clear how we miss Ndidi as a rock in the middle and Vardy's movement up front. But we need to adapt and this is a good game to do so. Play to our strengths which involves finding Maddison in space just outside their box and getting Barnes on the ball to run at them. We saw how they shat themselves when he did it first half resulting in a goal and need to pursue that now that Ayling is on a booking. 6

Dr The Singh Posted 31 January 2021 Posted 31 January 2021 Getting that first goal was crucial, but there equilizer has just given them confidence and they look the more likely to score. Perez just doesn't seem to the release the ball. Madders cannot get in the game and has been poor.

The Quick Brown Fox Posted 31 January 2021 Posted 31 January 2021 Perez grew into that half and was unlucky not to score at the end. Given time in his position he will come good, he's just trying to hard at the minute to make an impression. One he relaxes he will start to score.

FoxyJim1987 Posted 31 January 2021 Posted 31 January 2021 Bottom line? Leeds a fearless attacking side who try to out score teams. That's why they are gaining plaudits and rightly so. They are newly promoted and have not spent too much money and play good football. Anyone reading the comments would think we are bottom 4 and losing 3-0. We are 3rd and despite maybe Leeds being better team we have had just as many chances of not more. Some people need to get a grip it's a good game with 2 good teams trying to win. 2
Guest Manini Posted 31 January 2021 Posted 31 January 2021 The concerning thing for me is that if Leeds play the exact same 45 mins they just have, they’ll be taking the points. Far too often we get dragged in to the game the opposition wants us to play when we’re at home. We haven’t imposed our game on them at all bar the goal. A proper team bosses the game and dictates the tempo, we need to do that in the second half.
