sdb Posted 3 March 2021 Posted 3 March 2021 We're gonna get spanked by a Burnley side that will look fluid and creative in comparison. Is Vardy being played as some sort of ploy? In the hope they don't realise he can't currently run? 1
Popular Post Corky Posted 3 March 2021 Popular Post Posted 3 March 2021 Albrighton and Under starting is the attack we had last Thursday. People weren't exactly thrilled then, too. I'm afraid we're going to have to accept strange set-ups and personnel until the key players are ready again. Rodgers doesn't purposefully choose these teams as a laugh. 8

Dan Posted 3 March 2021 Posted 3 March 2021 Just so little creativity. Sadly expected but doesn't change it. I think this ends 0-0.

In this case I think it's more so we can get Ricardo/Castagne further forward and have 2 strikers. Clearly doesn't want Under and Albrighton has wing options.
lcfcsnow Posted 3 March 2021 Posted 3 March 2021 As if a back five wasn't bad enough we've got all four DCM's starting too. 1

If we recycle the ball poorly then they will just turn it into an duel in the air, and Wood will win hands down.

turlo Posted 3 March 2021 Posted 3 March 2021 2-0 Nacho header and Amartey goalmouth scramble from a corner
Jobyfox Posted 3 March 2021 Posted 3 March 2021 I think that’s the most horrible starting eleven I’ve seen since the 1994 play off final against Derby County.
reynard Posted 3 March 2021 Posted 3 March 2021 Really don't see what else we could do. Pretty much whoever is left fit plays. Under isn't the answer, many on here would complain if Albrighton started and Fofana probably isn't really quite ready. The bench does look very inexperienced or a bit past it/not good enough. Main thing is not to pick up any more injuries. Going to be a horrible night of football.

People need to realise we have 3 x 19 year olds and 1 x 21 year old on the bench which shows how stretch we are.
FoxOnWheels Posted 3 March 2021 Posted 3 March 2021 Horrible looking line up, our hand has been forced a bit but didn’t think tho this extreme. Looks so defensive player wise

Why's everyone on a downer? Half this place want Under to start ahead of Vardy nowadays because he got outpaced when clearly injured, and Under looked ok vs a 17 year old Brentford LB, the other half play FM and therefore want the 17 year olds on the bench starting The reality is, its really not that bad
Hammo Posted 3 March 2021 Posted 3 March 2021 If this Cobbled Together XI can beat (pretty much) Burnley’s first-choice team, I’ll be amazed. But bloody elated.

Dandy king Posted 3 March 2021 Posted 3 March 2021 Burnley about to get a lesson on how proper teams utterly shithouse a game
