Should adopt a choose your own punishment plan:

Choose one of the following options.

1. 30 point deduction

Or

2. Start each game next season with 10 players

Or

3. Start each game next season with a one goal deficit (except of course when they're playing another member of the scumbag six)

This would be hilarious to watch 🤣

In my view, and I suspect many others from the outcry at these proposals, the crime was the attempted murder of the game.  The motive was profit.  The criminals haven't gone through with their crime (yet) but there's no guarantee that they won't have another attempt in the future.

Any reasonable judge facing such perpetrators in the dock would be neglecting their duty if they didn't hand down a sentence that not only punished the guilty but acted as a strong deterrent to any other low lives who were thinking of doing this in the future.

They would all choose starting every game with a one goal deficit if it came to it.

Sick of hearing 'don't punish the fans or players'. For one the players don't care as much as they're being made out to. That's evident from how many big names end up getting a payday in China over a last hurrah in their league. The fans, I'm sure can handle being out of Europe for two years or finishing 12th because of points deductions.

These owners will only feel it if they are disgraced and hit financially. Besides, these are effectively business entities, you can't slap the owner a personal fine as I'm sure they are operating on behalf of the club. Punish the club to punish the owners.

These clubs need punishing. If they abolish points deductions for administration as a result of it then fine. But they've all sat there whilst other clubs have been ruined and fans have lost their clubs as a result. They need firm action upon them - you cannot soften your stance now. Never again.

the opposition can nominate up to  2 of the super six club's players to be withdrawn at any time in the match  and replaced by their dad

Alan Brazil usually spouts absolute shite from his bloated oversized tomato head but he came up with an idea to enforce slashing season ticket prices for the offending clubs.

That would hit the owners without hurting the fans.

Alternatively, something with lasers gets my vote.

Has the Premier League ever dished out a points deduction? What happened to West Ham with the Tevez/Mascherano saga?

They should have done but at the time Trevor Brooking was high up at the Fa and he made sure nothing happened.

Honestly I dont think any fans of top six club would argue about a points deduction most would have happily taken that than joining a super league.

They got a fine. Pretty sure it's the heaviest the PL have ever dished out.

5.5 million is peanuts to premier league club even by 2007 standards. Its bit like signing a new player for that price.

Even so they sold Tevez and the other guy to probably pay for some of that debt.

Can I ask why next season and not this?

Punish them now. Hard and swift. They didn't sign next season they signed this week.

I mentioned this earlier. I would prefer to let this season ride out and finish. Would you seriously want our first ever FA cup to be won by default, or fair and square by beating Chelsea? disqualifications and or points deductions now would throw the whole season into chaos. What about those other teams that got knocked out of cups by these teams in earlier rounds? Also doing it now would give unfair advantages to teams that still have to play these six who would be totally demotivated and disinterested if there was nothing for them to play for this season.

A european ban for next season along with relegation/points deductions will hit them harder without disrupting this season so close to the end. This is just my opinion of course.

Ban them and give me Top 4 - I'll take it however I can get it.  Didn't hear anyone complaining when Man City was banned last year and we thought we could get in with 5th.

I want to qualify for the CL because we've made top four due to our results. It would demean our qualification if they were banned now.

Or poetic justice that we have profitted from them being out in the cold for a season or 2 rather than the other way round and eternity of the ESL proposal.

Fine them & Dock 30 points or more I don’t care but they need punishing. Hoping now that the premier League will have the Cahonas to go through with this type of punishment they have to if they just slap them on the wrists it just sends out a message of they’re untouchable they’ve fined and docked other clubs for a hell of a lot less !!

DO THE RIGHT THING PREMIER LEAGUE !

Yes, this familiarity with PL plans along with tortious interference is being prepared as the substantial sticks to smack their bottoms with.

Super Club = Super Punishment 🤣

Sadly, I believe that the reverse will be true. Bix six club = little or no punishment. Imo, they should all have an immediate points deduction. It's made me realise that those clubs' owners have nothing but contempt for not only their own 'legacy fans', but also for every other football club in the country.

If the punishment does end up being a points deduction (and it should). The only fair way to implement it would be for next season.

otherwise arsenal get off for free.
