Make no mistake, this means so so much to the fabric of LCFC. In many ways more than the league win ever will.

 

So many have Dads and grandads who went to the three 60s finals and the 74 semi. We were brought up on this.

Many win medals but few have the opportunity to create history. Bring us our first fa cup home. There will be murals painted, your Instagram and twitter accounts will be overloaded with new followers.

You've made us proud, you've acheived something we haven't had for over half a century. You've given me and many more a dream come true of getting to watch my team in the FA cup final at Wembley.

 

You're 90 minutes from history, from greatness and forever etching yourself in the memories of this great club. 

 

Take it all in, enjoy the moment, give it all you've got and leave everything out there. 

 

This is one we want, the final piece of the domestic puzzle, the only domestic trophy that matters that we haven't seen us win. 

 

I've been in the stands for playoff wins, I've been there for league Cup wins. I've seen relegation and promotions. I stood with pride as we lifted the league 1 trophy, and again with the championship trophy. I cried tears of joy as we won the premier league.

 

You are part of this story, this is your chapter, make it one to remember

Think of the sacrifices you've made all season to get to this moment; Justin's injury, the relentless amount of games back in January & February; it was all for this moment. The goal is right there.

 

Also, Chilly is not your friend ... step on his toes in the tunnel.

Lads this is more than just a cup final and by god it would have been a big enough occasion if that's all it was. After the events of the last couple of months this is a battle between all that is wrong with the game that we all fell in love with and all that is right. A battle of greed and arrogance versus good old-fashioned values, combined with a huge dose of guts and passion. 5 years ago this club took us to a place few of us ever thought was possible and yet you have the opportunity to deliver something equally special that has eluded our club for our entire 137 year history despite 4 previous (and valiant) attempts. So be brave and be strong and play with everything you've got for your families, for the fans in the stadium, those back home glued to their tv, for those who went before you in 1949, 1961, 1963 and 1969, and for Khun Top. But above all else do it for yourselves!
