We win this group, I am very confident we get 2 good wins now we have our home games.

I can also see Napoli dropping points either in Moscow or Warsaw.
A draw in Naples will be enough for us to win this group.

Probably get Kiev or St.Petersberg.

As easy as possible please!!! I actually want to win it.

A European final would be a million times better than a nice trip to barca to get smashed

Dont think a draw is good for us. If they draw, Napoli win their next 2 and we win our next 2, the table will look like below going in to the final game.

Leicester: 10pts

Napoli: 8pts

Legia: 7pts

I wouldn't fancy needing a point in Napoli to go through.

....it will give us two bites at the cherry....!!!

The only problem is, that we have a tendency to fail to get the result we need, playing in a last game scenario.

Basically, looking at the group from here on, if both us and Napoli win both games we go to Napoli already qualified, with that game becoming a mini play off for a last 16 spot.

For us over that 2 games we need to claw back 2 goals. Napoli GD +2, us 0 currently.

We need to go all out and spank one of Spartak of Legia, in order to head to Naples needing a point.

Which despite the poor start, is exactly what we would have expected prior to the group starting.

Bring them on I say! Surely the point of being in Europe is to play the best teams and see how our team fares against them. The Napoli game was brilliant, they were a top class outfit and 2-2 was a fitting result for that game. I would LOVE to see us play against AC Milan or Barcelona. When you play against teams like that, that's when you have properly announced yourself to the world.

The Champions League ties against Sevilla and Atletico were awesome at the KP. Let's have that atmosphere back at the ground again!

Tiebreakers

Teams are ranked according to points (3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss). If two or more teams are tied on points, the following tiebreaking criteria are applied, in the order given, to determine the rankings.

- Points in head-to-head matches among the tied teams;
- Goal difference in head-to-head matches among the tied teams;
- Goals scored in head-to-head matches among the tied teams;
- If more than two teams were tied, and after applying all head-to-head criteria above, a subset of teams are still tied, all head-to-head criteria above are reapplied exclusively to this subset of teams;
- Goal difference in all group matches;
- Goals scored in all group matches;
- Away goals scored in all group matches;
- Wins in all group matches;
- Away wins in all group matches;
- Disciplinary points (direct red card = 3 points; double yellow card = 3 points; single yellow card = 1 point);
- UEFA club coefficient.

Due to the abolition of the away goals rule, head-to-head away goals are no longer applied as a tiebreaker starting from this season. However, total away goals are still applied as a tiebreaker.

So, assuming level points with Napoli a draw at their place basically means we need to batter either of the other two by more than they do.

Get though and let the draw take care of itself.

I'd imagine most of us would have prefered not to have played Man U or Chelsea in our FA Cup winning run.

To win competitions you have to beat good sides.

If you're playing just for the experience of being in Europe, sure.  There's value in a matchup with a glamor side.  But if you actually have designs on winning the competition you should want to avoid those matchups at all costs.

Whilst this is true, the easiest route through is always preferred.

You can win the competition and still beat those sides. And to win it we are going to have to play at least two really good teams along the way. We've already payed Napoli who are top of Serie A and easy to understand why they are in that position, because they were fantastic.

Neither Barcelona nor Milan are currently particaurly good. This isn't Cruyff's dream team or Sacchi's Dutch Balon d'Or contingent. In fact I think we would be the favourite against either of those teams if we played tomorrow.

We could put up a fight among pretty much any team in Europe, our record against the top teams in the Premier League shows that. The teams I think in Europe are best setup to stuff us are Bayern Munich and Liverpool, but we won't be facing either of those in the Europa.

It can also be an advantage to play bigger teams in some ways, because the crowd and players will be up for it!

Barca won’t finish 3rd IMO. They will squeeze in. Milan got some work to do as they are zero points from three games. Inter likely to surpass Sheriff eventually as well.

I think the real dangers from the CL drop downs would be Atalanta/Villarreal and Porto.

Milan would be great before they possibly demolish the San Siro.

I thought Kiev was brilliant when I went, it'd be a fun trip.

I'm really confident we'll get through now we have the two home games next.

As it stands, 3rd means dropping down to the Conference League.

Our next opponents would be:-

LASK (Austria)

Partizan Belgrade (Serbia)

Roma (Italy)

Jablonec (Czech Republic)

Maccabi Haifa (Israel)

Copenhagen (Denmark)

Vitesse Arnhem (Netherlands)

Basel (Switzerland)

If we qualify 2nd, we'd play the drop down teams from the Champions League which as it stands would be:-

Club Brugge (Belgium)

FC Porto (Portugal)

Sporting (Portugal)

Inter Milan (Inter)

Barcelona (Spain)

Villarreal (Spain)

Lille (France)

Zenit St Petersburg (Russia)

Kiev is amazing and I’ve heard the same about St Petersburg.

St Petersburg is a magical city, stunning around the centre. Might still be a bit chilly though should we draw them. I recommend thermals or vodka, or better yet, both.

No need to worry though. This is Daka’s cup.
