Popular Post moore_94 Posted 8 November 2022 Popular Post Posted 8 November 2022 Hope our talks with him were simply a text saying we would never ever sign him and then we blocked his number 4 10
Staff Posted 8 November 2022 Posted 8 November 2022 (edited) We desperately need a left back BTW, not Luke Shaw though Edited 8 November 2022 by Staff
Popular Post StriderHiryu Posted 8 November 2022 Popular Post Posted 8 November 2022 Controversially, I wouldn't mind him. For me he's similar to Maguire in the sense that he's a good to very good player for a mid-table / Europa League club, but not a player good enough to play for a Champions League club. It depends on the price for me, if we could get him on a discount / loan, then I think he would improve the overall quality of the squad. Comparing him to Gosens is laughable. Gosens was at one point Atalanta's best player when they were both challenging for Serie A and the Champions League. But it's for that reason that I don't think we can get him, and maybe this is a more realistic signing. 5
MPH Posted 8 November 2022 Posted 8 November 2022 Thomas clearly not favored by Rodgers.. Justin prone to a few injuries.. Timmy needed on the right because of Ricky P’s injuries.. you can see why we need another LB 1
Popular Post Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 8 November 2022 Popular Post Posted 8 November 2022 The comforting thing about this particular rumour is that he absolutely reeks of Everton 6 3
coolhandfox Posted 8 November 2022 Posted 8 November 2022 Not a chance he is taking enough of a pay cut to come here.

SkidsFox Posted 8 November 2022 Posted 8 November 2022 Could have been a shrewd move- help us forget Bertrand and Vesterguard.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 9 November 2022 Posted 9 November 2022 Guess I’m going against the grain here, but he is actually pretty good
ALC Fox Posted 9 November 2022 Posted 9 November 2022 I like Shaw when he's on form. Good on the ball, supports the attack well and gets the odd goal too. But when he's off it, he's really off it. He seems to be a real confidence player. I don't think he thrives in an environment where he's a rotational option. He's managed to survive the challenge from Malacia, though, and playing week in, week out is benefitting his form right now. Does a good job for England as well, on the whole. 1
-sodapop Posted 9 November 2022 Posted 9 November 2022 Think he's better quality than some of you are giving credit for. He could improve our starting XI 1
teblin Posted 9 November 2022 Posted 9 November 2022 We've been reported to be interested throughout be Brendans time at the club.
Dames Posted 9 November 2022 Posted 9 November 2022 He would cost too much in wages and he has really struggled with his fitness in the past, not just injuries but general fitness. Quality player when fully fit and firing but those patches are very few and far between. Hard pass for me.
Sly Posted 9 November 2022 Posted 9 November 2022 What’s not to like about having a clearly talented fullback that is massively injury prone? We collect them! and have Bertrand
