Agree with this but I still think if you're going to complain about tired players as a manager then Coady for Vestegaard is one of many changes he could have made throughout the season without any detriment to our results.

He would’ve been playing ahead of Vestergaard, but literally no one expected Vestergaard to come in and do as well as he did at the start of the season whilst Coady was out injured and by the point Coady was fit again Vestergaard and Faes were doing really well so it would have been very unfair to drop either of them which is why it took so long for Coady to get any meaningful game time

Could potentially if Enzo leaves, vestergaard contract not renewed, Doyle loan finishes, transfer embargo etc I’m not saying he will but he could end up doing a vestergaard

Anyone else see him demand the ball like a prime inverted Steve Guppy and whip in a ball like Beckham was out of fashion? 

 

Feel like he's such a cut above of Justin at the moment and offers something different to Doyle.

 

Proper leader and such a cool head which is probably more important.

The captaincy isn't a massive thing at most clubs now, there's leadership groups and he's certainly in that here.
