Only have to look at the relentless long term injuries the academy has got in the last two years. It runs bigger than the 1st team manager but he was influential in shaking up the personnel in that department and its been a massive disaster.

Do wonder if there is something amiss with the pitches at Seagrave in terms of compaction, or is the indoor one to blame? Do the huge number of new training pitches get the same care as the stadium, or has somebody tried to save money and/or used an inexpert contractor at Seagrave? Seagrave needs an independant expert review as this does seem odd. Anyone done an evidence based look at our total Injuries  not just first team? Or are we being paranoid?

We had a period of bad injuries in 2021-22 but last year was no worse than normal and this year it’s been nothing out of the ordinary. Really, some people put a conspiracy theory together on the flimsiest pretext.

Training ground injuries have become rife in the Premier & Championship. Apparently Rugby Football is also seeing an increase.

 Are athletes being pushed too hard in training ??

The pitches were re-laid after Rodgers first season, and all the pitches at both the ground and Seagrave were done to the same standard. Given we have a Turf Academy with all the grass and ground science it's possible to get I don't think they'd be employing random contractors using leftovers and apprentices to lay the grass at a £100m facility.

I don't know how it'd be possible to analyse our injuries without official club input. No-one outside the physios and doctors would have the specifics of the injuries, such as how it was caused (twisting, turning, impact etc)  21/22 was crazy but other clubs had similar issues such as Leeds and Liverpool. That season aside it wouldn't even get a mention if we were still at Belvoir Drive. Seagrave just gives everything a focal point. Worth noting also the womens team have had 3 or 4 players with serious knee injuries and they've never used Seagrave until the last couple of weeks.

It’s an HR issue apparently. He’s running around seagrave waving his cock at people shouting ‘I’m going to spray you with my cannon’. Reality is he can only muster up a small amount into a sock Sad really. Seemed like such a talent

Still just as bad as under Rodgers for the last few years. We have broken records and not in a good way. The training ground needs closing down, it's not safe. Surprised they aren't all wearing hard hats and steel toe caps like I had to do when I had a tour back in November 2020.

go on the chap, put the hard hat and high viz vest on and do a nice little Health and safety report on the ground;

dont forget the priest's to perform an exorcism
