Imagine the same club appointing each of those within a couple of years. Each totally different from the last, with the only similarity being that they're objectively shit at the role.

It’s utterly, utterly insane that we have on paper surely one of the strongest squads to play in this league for a long time but we’ve tied our own hands by having a delusional, purist managing it.

 

All it would take would be to have a manager with an ounce of nous about this league and a straight forward approach and we’d be up where this squad should be.

 

It really reminds me of when you see a film trailer for some utterly shit film and you think, people in the film industry with millions of dollars have signed this off at every stage and any normal human being can see that this piece of shit is going to absolutely bomb.
 

It’s utterly bewildering that once again not one single lesson has been learned from this absolute cluster**** of Nepo’s tenure.

Russel Martin is the absolute opposite of a progressive manager. It's entirely about himself.

The annoying thing is, no club saw it coming and only realised too late what a liability he is. Rangers for example. 

 

It was right out there in the open for our owners and board too see. We as plebs could see it. That only accentuates the ineptitude of those that oversee our football club.

 

Where I once loved them, I now despise them. All of them. They have no care or consideration for anything but themselves.

 

They don't even care that if the club folds that is a reflection of their combined failures.

 

Hate the f888ing lot of them.

First half we opened them up on numerous occasions, and could/should have been out of sight, however 2nd half the goal we gifted them and the couple of other chances they fashioned from us over playing show the flaws of his philosophy and style. In comparison, if Man City just drew 1-1 against 10 man Middlesbrough (who are x10 their value), I reckon they might have played a couple of decent moves too.

 

I’m not sure that is necessarily down to Martin’s exceptional plan A.

He isn’t going anywhere so it’s not even worth notching up the blood pressure. 
 

Even if he did, why would anyone trust the club to get someone right in ?

Can't believe that I.was actually happy with appointment. I got blinded by 3ish saints games id watched including man city away when they were very good. Im.shocjed how bad we are, I.thought he was a more up tempo version of enzo, its even slower. Needed a fast start, hasn't got it and now feels like its toxic already and its done. He'll need 5ish wins on spin to turn this around I dont think hes capable of doing it

90 points is the target...

 

90 points would not have got automatic promotion in the past two seasons at this level.

 

We cannot even get our club targets right lol the clueless clowns.

Honestly, we are in trouble and it’s difficult to work out if the squad is good enough without Martin holding them back. Is the recruitment poor? Or is it the systems and constant chopping and changing while Martin lurches from one starting 11 to the next.

 

I completely expected a slow start and posted a thread saying as much, but this already looks bleak.
