If he goes, which I don't think he will do then we best get north of £50 million for him. I'd be lining up Hakim Ziyech just in case as I'm convinced he's going to be one of the best in Europe in the next 18 months.

Ranieri's "anyone who wants to leave, can do so" is a huge mistake. The line should publicly always be, no one is for sale, privately you can say differently.

 

Mahrez is special, damned special... but is he in the same price bracket as people who've done the business in the top flight for numerous years and perform well in either the Champions League or International tournaments?

 

I hope he stays, I really really do. But it is AFCON this season and he seems to travel terribly if we recall his performances after AFCONs of the past & his unusually off-pace performances Vs PSG then Barca... how will he be after jetting off to kazakhstan every other week?

 

We should be building, not replacing players... but we also need to get real about what £40m+ is for one player who albeit great is at the end of the day just one player

Averages just under a goal every 2 games since going on loan at west Brom

and is 23.

he didn't have a great season last year but Everton were dog shit.

if he goes Chelsea and they dominate games expect him to be one of the top goal scorers this year.

mahrez has produced for one season, lukaku was sold for 30 million 2 years ago.

Strikers go at a premium just look at 29 year old Higguin.

Realisticly lukaku will go for 60 plus.

No one will pay that for Mahrez based on one season it's too risky.
