GeorgeTheFox Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Not Puel's fault that the players don't give a **** unless they're playing top 6. Not Puel's fault that we took a pathetic penatly
elvisfmcfly Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 And that is why there will always be Puel out!
Corky Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 It is clear he's not going to last much longer so get on with it and let's try and find someone else.

Not Puel's fault that we took a pathetic penatly It is his fault our side never press the opposition... especially average sides like today. We see it every week against the teams below us. Cardiff showed more aggression by pressing and we did sod all, just stood off them. This performance isn't a one-off... He hasn’t got a clue how to break a team down (unless we counter), but everyone thinks we need to play a different way, to.. break a team down... well that isn’t how you do it, spending no effort to close down or play s different pass other than sideways, play out from a goal kick and let them settle into a shape. It’s dog s**** to watch and has no substance He’s a joke
lgfualol Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 This will be a fun thread full of totally normal reactions to the loss.
seenitall Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Let down by Maddison really - the kid has lots of potential but he ain’t no penalty taker. Lacklustre and it does look like we only have one team - no Vardy Albrighton or even Morgan (soyencu was average) and we lack anything like the energy or commitment needed
shailen Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 This is exactly why the possession game will never work. We looked most dangerous when we got the ball early to our forwards and were more direct with Gray and Pereria committing their defenders. Need to play with the obvious pace we have against teams like Cardiff.
peach0000 Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 I said after both the Chelsea and Man City games that the odd good result doesn’t change things and got shot down from everyone. It’s back to how we’ve been playing all season, low energy boring football.
Chester Dontlie Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Win against Chelsea (away!) and Man City, lose against Cardiff home #puellogic Worth to put a tenner on us getting a point or three with Everton then crapping our pants at home vs Saints
m4DD0gg Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Puel is such a cnut. Going no where under this garbage manager. One up front at home to Cardiff is a disgrace. The bloke has more lives than a cat.

Fox85 Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 He's gone surely. Keep the same team we had out against Chelsea and man city. We win. He rotates AGAIN !!!!!! We lose to a poor shit team. Puel Out
Bazly Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 I'd say keep Puel till the end of season and have a new manager lined up to do a Summer clear out.
Guest Col city fan Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 How can such a technically gifted player take penalties like he’s a knob end? I don’t get it.. must be a mental thing
Devonfox1884 Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 What is the point in beating Man City and Chelsea if we’re going to lose at home to Cardiff ffs? It was all so predictable too. This is kind of game is why I can’t decide on the in/out debate. We have to win them to go to the next level and Claude seems incapable of motivating the players for them. Everton, Burnley (in fairness I won’t moan at that result due to circumstances) and Cardiff at home. 1 point. Turn those in to wins and we’re looking at 6th. That’s the difference, THAT’S ALL IT IS. So frustrating.

I have serious concerns about his ability to motivate a group of players it they aren’t playing a team thats in the title race.
coolhandfox Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 People need to realise how limited this squad is, no ball playing midfield player. Lack of quality in wide area, and only one decent forward.
Crispin LA Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 So so poor Leicester and I was getting in the Puel in camp

Not Puel's fault that we took a pathetic penatly However you could argue it was his fault we started with the most contained and uninspiring central midfield pair in the Premier League (as a midfield two, they're wretched), made no brave, attacking changes, and continue to struggle against sides like this at home. People will moan about folk booing at the end (and I'd never boo, achieves nothing) but people have the right to vent their frustration. The past two results have been above and beyond expectations but they're the exception rather than the rule – he'd buy more time if we turned a half decent shift in every now and then but we simply don't.
