Wagner leaves Huddersfield

What a job he's done taking Huddersfield from where they were to where they are now (I think our own Simon Grayson deserves some credit for taking them to the point where Wagner found them as well).

Having watched the Sunderland documentary on Netflix I'm surprised Simon Grayson can tie his own shoelaces.

If people are unhappy with Puel's boring style of play, I'm not sure Wagner is the answer. 28 goals last season.13 in 22 games this season. Promoted with a negative goal difference.

Sounds like the ideal appointment to get Shinji & Iheanacho firing imo

We'd be daft not to be in contact with him after his achievements at Huddersfield. Let's be fair, that team is relegation fodder so there's little he can do with the budget available. Which of course makes his achievements last season to keep them up all the more remarkable.

He would be on my shortlist of possible candidates should we look to steer Puel out the door in the summer.

As mentioned above, I think we were linked with him before.

I prefer to look at, if he is getting the best out of the resources available.

Is he an upgrade on Puel....Probably

I know what you're saying but in terms of league position, Puel is probably getting the best out of the resources available here.

That said, I'm not too arsed about league position unless we're fighting for top 4 or in danger of being relegated, and think Wagner could instill some of that Leicester spirit we've been lacking for a while now.
