People saying his team are negative and don't score goals - did you see what he's had to work with? 

 

That squad had no business even making the Championship playoffs, let alone getting promotion and staying up. They were fighting Championship relegation when he joined. 

 

Looking at the bigger picture, he's clearly a very talented coach who promotes a style of football which very much suits our squad and he's fostered an amazing team spirit at Huddersfield - something that's been missing here since we won the Premier League.

 

Might not be the right man for us, and Puel possibly deserves more time to turn things around, but the dismissive comments and snobbery around him as a manager are unbelievable.

We'd be daft not to be in contact with him after his achievements at Huddersfield. Let's be fair, that team is relegation fodder so there's little he can do with the budget available. Which of course makes his achievements last season to keep them up all the more remarkable.

 

He would be on my shortlist of possible candidates should we look to steer Puel out the door in the summer.

I know what you're saying but in terms of league position, Puel is probably getting the best out of the resources available here.

 

That said, I'm not too arsed about league position unless we're fighting for top 4 or in danger of being relegated, and think Wagner could instill some of that Leicester spirit we've been lacking for a while now.
