Realjimbo Posted 25 January 2020 Share Posted 25 January 2020 I think today's performance really told a story, he had the perfect opportunity to impress and his whole performance was dismal, just shows that players develop at certain stages of their career, some continue, others slow, some stop. Guess we should hope all that wasn't true. Surely some awful club like Stoke would give us 15ish for him? Still a tidy profit for us. These players are very highly paid and that privilege comes with the need to do the job to the best of your ability . If you don't you will be criticised but it should not be "abuse" . All of the he latter have developed and can offer much more to the first team than Gray. Different managers have never seemed to be able to tune him. Season after season, we hope it will be his time where he goes from showing cameo glimpses of excellence to consistenty.
