Be interesting ,when it comes to the jumps....:P

My Post wasnt singllng you out...it was aimed both sides of the divide...I

Lets get both fit, then give Rodgers the headache....hopefully both turn out top performers for us ,over somemore years...

Poor argument was probably fair, tbh, though I was slightly above crap myself, because i wasn't in it long lol. Sometimes I'm just kicking ideas around without much thought.

I think part of the reason we see things so differently (on FT generally) is that we are looking at different elements of the game when we watch. If you watch tennis, for example, everyone pretty much sees everything. Simple.

But with 22 players, lightening quick transitions, off the ball movement, pressing, offside traps etc, you simply cannot keep an eye on everything, especially on TV. I spent quite a few games, earlier in the season, mainly admiring the geometry of Mendy's passing and positioning when he was really on. I probably missed loads of other important stuff because he was such a different DMC to Wilf, and it was novel.

What an idiotic statement 🙄

We'll see..

Glad you have confidence in the depth of our squad to compete in 3 competitions and that we can just brush aside losing the likes of Praet for several PL games.

Maddison is already nursing an injury and all it needs is for him to be sidelined then who comes in?

We're back to the problems that cost us CL football !

Ok, Praet could have got the injury playing a league game or in training or playing with his dog in the back garden etc.. but he didn't, he got it against Stoke in an FA Cup match.

Don't care what you say.. the PL and Europa should be the club's priorities and key players should of been rested/protected against the likes of Stoke City in a domestic cup competition.

Alright mate don’t get out of your pram....Praet could have been injured in training where most players seem to get injuries.

Hamza is not even an option in replacing Praet short term. Doesn’t offer anything going forward in the slightest. I’m not sure what kind of player KDH is but I’m sure its giving us a headache especially with the run of games coming up.

Injuries are part of the game. Of any sport. If you protected players all the time they’d never play.

I’d rather be 2nd in the Prem and getting to another round of something and then having injuries. You’ve got something to hold on to. If you’re already out of a cup or half way down a league then why bother in the first place.

Imagine if we’d rested a few players in the champ winning year. We’d never have won it. A perfect storm and pure luck on having no major injuries helped us win that. A disjointed season and injuries last season meant we didn’t hold on to CL football last year but we came damn close and still got EL.

Also on the point of playing lower league opposition. Why not give players a run out. Let them get some form and enjoy themselves. Everyone treats sport so scientifically and calculated and whilst it has its place you have to remember that even players are people and they will want to play and enjoy their football.

We've paid the price of fielding important players in a cup competition that should be way down the list of priorities!

Should have played the academy side and protected our important players for the PL and Europa games.

Praet is a massive loss and could cost us dearly.

Not learning the lesson from last season when we lost the chance of champions League football because of injuries to key players!!

Sod the FA Cup!!

Praet has started 2 of our last 9 league games he needs minutes to stay sharp.

3 months would be properly shite considering we have FA Cup and Europa League to add to what will be a hectic schedule of league games considering we've only played 17 and are already in January with the season ending in May.

Wouldn't be adverse to bringing KDH back because I think he'll get quite a bit of game time.

Hamza is a poor player. Schlupp level player. I hope we can flog him for £10m-ish like we did with Schlupp. Maybe Palace will take him. He'd be a decent player for them..
