Painful to take, but this shows that we are the real deal IMO. Liverpool were much better than us for most of the game, but they are lucky to get all 3 points from that and they know it!

Still fuming at the pen and the cnut ref but I reluctantly think that they were the better team.

 

I'll hate them until the next game.

Never want to see Maddison on the wing, vacates the space and ends up in the midfield too often leaving Chilwell with no out ball. If we need to play Ndidi, Tielemans, Praet and Ndidi then use the formation we finished, seemed to be a diamond with Vardy and Perez up top.

Liverpool deserved win but not in that manner. How any penalties has Albrighton needlessly given away for us now?

We need to find a system that allows us to be dangerous against these sorts of teams. A draw would have been a great result, but the ref was giving them anything he could. A clumsy challenge like that, however soft, and poor Mane rolling about was like porn to that nob.

Lost for words, didn't expect a win today but what a bummer. 3 Cockups in a row from Albrighton, took the ball from Kaspar, Lost it and then stuck his leg out. Mane dived as soon as the hairs on his legs felt a breeze, yeah contact, soft though, 50/50 call. You know this ref was going to give it, like he gave everything to Liverpool. He blew the final whistle as our last cross was coming in? what the **** was that about, never seen that before?

Worst thing about this is the international break. We could do with another game to get it out of our systems, rather than it just playing on our minds.

Soft penalty and we lost it late on, but it's not like we deserved anything. 

 

Take it, move on and hope that Rodgers learns- that was just as bad as Old Trafford.

From 45-60 mins we were shocking, from 60 minutes onwards we were brilliant.

 

Perez changed the game when he came on, fair play to him.

 

We gave a good account of ourselves, to lose in that manner though is sickening.

Another disappointing day away. Var will change nothing for the top sides, and Liverpool hardly need a hand. A point would have been nice, but we take what we can from it and move on. We just have to make sure we react properly and beat Burnley, top six finished don’t come away at Liverpool, they do at home against Burnley.

What's the point in VAR. If a bloke diving over after the smallest of touches isn't clear and obvious then what is. He went down like someone had hit him with a sledgehammer.

They had every single decision. But you can't stifle a team for 70 mins, end the game with shots and expect much really.... 

 

Just play wingers on the bloody wings!!!!!
