Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 11 January 2020 Posted 11 January 2020 Had praet first goal 20/1 happy days, sort of.
tylesta Posted 11 January 2020 Posted 11 January 2020 5 minutes of stoppage time and we pass it around between our defence...
Brooksy Posted 11 January 2020 Posted 11 January 2020 Absolutely no way we're finishing in the top 4 this season.
StriderHiryu Posted 11 January 2020 Posted 11 January 2020 Congratulations Southampton, they played us off the park for the whole 90 minutes and deservedly won. They should in fact have won by more. We've had a brilliant season, but that was poor. Hopefully Rodgers can get into them in training this week because performances have been poor for a while now. Onto the next one.
Foxhateram Posted 11 January 2020 Posted 11 January 2020 3 goals ruled out by VAR. Having a joke! There's was offside, not even checked. Ref gave every 50/50 to them. Was the same against Villa last week. Ref wasn't giving any of their fouls.
Tuna Posted 11 January 2020 Posted 11 January 2020 Disappointing result, disappointing performance, disappointing few days. We'll regroup and come back from this. Southampton deserved it and we didn't. Keep behind the lads, we're still a quality side and we will turn it around.
Guest MattP Posted 11 January 2020 Posted 11 January 2020 I was upset this morning as I couldn't make the game Worst performance since the end of the Puel era. Chilwell, Soyuncu and Choudary looked like park players at times and we desperately need a winger who can create. Anyway onwards and upwards.

Izzy Posted 11 January 2020 Posted 11 January 2020 Well played Saints. Thoroughly deserved that. We've lost the plot big time. All teams except Liverpool will probably have a dip in form this season and this is well and truly ours.
Sunbury Fox Posted 11 January 2020 Posted 11 January 2020 Well played Southampton. Played us off the pitch. Lucky to only lose by 1.
TJB-fox Posted 11 January 2020 Posted 11 January 2020 At least some of our shit weird fans will be happy about some of the players performances. Gives them something to talk about and pleasure themselves over for the next week or so.
Sunbury Fox Posted 11 January 2020 Posted 11 January 2020 Well played Southampton. Played us off the pitch. Lucky to only lose by 1.
adejo92 Posted 11 January 2020 Posted 11 January 2020 Said it before the game, if we play like we did against West Ham, Newcastle and Villa then we'll get turned over. We were awful, again, and guess what, turned over.
BigWesMorgan Posted 11 January 2020 Posted 11 January 2020 Not a fan of slamming your own players after the make 1 or 2 rare errors. But when it's consistently this shocking you just can't excuse it. One of the worst defensive performances from Ben Chilwell in a very very long time. Our England left back. Yes Harvey Barnes wasn't good etc but he just couldn't get into the game. Ben just point blanc couldn't pick a single pass, cross, nothing. SHOCKING.
ozleicester Posted 11 January 2020 Posted 11 January 2020 Just didnt seem to start, the entire game was out of whack and we were well and truly beaten
Dahnsouff Posted 11 January 2020 Posted 11 January 2020 Been sticking up for Ben for ages, but he absolutely must improve his right foot
lgfualol Posted 11 January 2020 Posted 11 January 2020 Awful. Southampton should have won that by 3 or 4 goals, miles the better team.
Bazly Posted 11 January 2020 Posted 11 January 2020 Hasper had his best showing for years. Others all pretty crap, especially chilwell. Chilwell was before this game the lowest ranked player in the forum match rankings. I think he has helped secure that spot after the display today.
Sir Shep Posted 11 January 2020 Posted 11 January 2020 Yeah we played poorly, guess a few layers have let the success go to their heads. Southampton though were always going to be up for it so we move on and should play far better against Burnley. Do need Ndidi back though.

tickler28 Posted 11 January 2020 Posted 11 January 2020 Horrendous performance.....dare I say that our efforts in the Carabao Cup may be catching up with us.....prize money for winning Carabao Cup £200,000 and a place in the Europa League.....Top 4 is worth £40 million plus Champs league....I'd sacrifice a Carabao cup win for 3 points any day of the week
LCFCSOULBOY Posted 11 January 2020 Posted 11 January 2020 Bright side. We avoided a humiliation. They should have had 5. If anybody says we were unlucky, Southampton were unlucky. We were just dreadful
Les-TA-Jon Posted 11 January 2020 Posted 11 January 2020 Didn’t see any of it. Can anyone explain how the match actually went and how we actually performed? I followed the match thread and from that it looks like Chilwell should be sold for £5m, the whole midfield isn’t good enough and Rodgers out. which seems like classic FT knee jerkism
lozzyblue fox Posted 11 January 2020 Posted 11 January 2020 Happy birthday Jamie not the present you wanted blame your team mates oh and yourself.
