Good to see me getting the plaudits on MOTD 2 tonight.   it was not just his work rate and tracking back , he can play as well played some skillful and intelligent penetrating balls.  He always leaves everything out on the pitch great servant to the club..  deserves a lot of respect

They actually asked Kevin first, but he refused to do the pose. Vardy said so in an interview.

 

Also, Albrighton appears to now be Madders' new best mate after Chilwell's departure. They're always hanging out together in the pre match photos and Madders frequently refers to him as the GOAT on his insta.

Must admit I was someone who was saying we should move on from him to progress at the start of the season, but when he’s played in recent weeks he’s been brilliant. Certainly helps us a lot defensively and does have a good cross on him.

It's amazing to think that every manager that comes in drops him to the bench. His head doesn't drop and it's only a matter of time before you know he's going to be starting again. 

Cracking player that gives you what you want to see from every player, everything. Runs himself into the ground every game.

He's played his way back into the team and deserves to be there!

 

One thing you cannot question about Albrighton is his attitude. He has lost his place under multiple managers many times. He was released from his boyhood club for not being good enough. But he never, ever complains, he just works his ass off on the training ground and *proves* he is good enough to play. His position is still the most obvious one that could be upgraded in our team, but he's keeping out Perez, Under, Praet, Gray on merit. His attacking play is also evolving and he's now providing a lot more assists and key passes. His relationship with JJ is also really blossoming. 

 

Brilliant stalwart for the club and a very good player!

It’s because he’s an old fashioned player. Especially when you’re a winger, you’ll be hooked for being old fashioned. Managers eventually appreciate his efforts, work rate and consistency down that right hand side and has become very reliable over the past 7 years.
