But in the end it's been an all too predictable story.

We are making football look a very difficult game. It shouldn’t be this complicated to get near the goal and make the keeper work.

 

Watching Man U and Sheff Utd recently has highlighted how the attitude of their players and manager is so much better than ours. They are chasing round the pitch for every ball and are so much crisper in possession because they are doing it at the right tempo.

 

We make what should be natural look robotic.

Boy, are we a chore to watch at the moment.

 

At this point I don't think the "why" is important - the "what" is that Vardy is offering absolutely nothing.  His touch is abysmal, he's not dropping deeper to get involved, and he's largely invisible.  How long do you keep letting that situation repeat itself?

Absolutely hopeless. No tempo with the passing no  movement. Perez looks our best player, that’s saying something.

I think Perez plucking the ball out of the sky and laying a perfectly weighted pass that led to Vardy producing a touch only Saville would be proud of sums it up. 

 

Improved performance depsite it being drab. We need a lucky break to settle us.
