Maybe he could come back...

.... As a scout.

It wouldn't be a bad decision either. He reads the game so well.

We need to get Fofana on a 10 year Contract.

As I said after the Arsenal game, he is the best defender to ever play the game.

Joking aside though, if Van Dijk was putting in performances like this, Pundits would be raving about him.

Every single game Fofana has played so far, you could argue he’s produced MOTM quality performances in every single one, that’s how good he’s been.

For St-Etienne, before last season’s Ligue 1 season was scrapped, he was topping the charts in terms of interceptions and we are clearly seeing why, he is a tremendous reader of the game.

Soyuncu and Evans are playing for the other centre back spot, no doubt about it.

He's the main man right now.

Evans 4th booking of the season today, so he's only 1 more away from a ban. Not sure how many games it will be for ( at least 2, i would have thought) . Just hope he doesn't pick up the 5th until Soyuncu's fit.

Jaw dropping today.

He is very good.

Unbelievable player.

Forget his age - I can’t think of another defender who has been better this season. If he continues like this then I honestly think that he could be one of the best players to ever play for the club.

I just hope we can keep him fit and hopefully at the club for as long as possible.

That interception was as good as any defending you will ever see.

Real test for him next game against that front three but he’ll be fine I think.

World class player in the making.

Must be at Maguire levels by now.

And by his levels, I mean cost. £80m surely. Obviously he'll go for more but we only signed him for less than half of that. Already more than doubled in value based on his performances.

I said it a few weeks ago but when you have a genuinely world class player in your side, like we had Kante, it's a gamechanger. If he stays fit we can get top 4 this season - if not more. He was the difference today for me.

Remember he's on a five year deal, and we already took a 'risk' with buying him for 30M.  It would take a huge bid, and personally wouldn't even want to take 100M for him with how he's playing at the moment, if he keeps this up for 5 years he'll be well worth that fee.
